For all we know someone could have suggested to Karen that maybe she hit him, and then Karen, being distraught and confused, absorbed that possibility. She kept questioning, could I, did I? Then concluded that she’d did. Just like she concluded she must’ve gotten her period when she saw blood on her hands.. she was clearly not in a reliable state of mind at that moment.

16. Poor Mr. O'Keefe. I don't know what he looked like before all this but he looks like death warmed over sitting here in court. I don't think he was listening or was even aware of what was going on. Jen cannot keep her lies straight. She needs her memory refreshed for every question. It seems to me the Judge should have stepped in and told her to answer 'yes' or 'no' and not to give an explanation/exception to every question. But it did appear that the Judge was suddenly being more than fair to the defense attorney.

17. I actually have 2nd hand embarrassment for Jen McCabe. The way she keeps looking at the jury is so cringe. Doesn't seem like something someone just telling the "facts" would do.
