LIVE: Boyfriend Cop Murder Trial – MA v. Karen Read – Day 3

1. Why did we not enhance the audio on the dashcams

2. All the prosecution questions have nothing to do with the murder… more about the weather and how to get to the incident location, 🙄🙄🙄

3. Even if she said she hit him, she also phrased it as a question "Did I hit him?", therefore, both statements cancel each other out.

4. 2:15:04 And there goes is credibility out the window. As a juror, I would be so flipping annoyed by his responses (and the judges behavior) because they sound absolutely ridiculous and unbelievable.

5. This judge is conducting herself very unprofessional. Her annoyed and irritated attitude towards the defense is unmistakable. It seems like she doesn’t like it when the defense is doing a way better job than the commonwealth and is trying to influence the jury with her sighs, interruption and comments like “I give him that one” (when she overruled an object of the prosecution).
   I hope the jury sees it as unprofessional behavior as well.

6. Amazing how one day your having fun, partying with all your c o p buddies and the next day your getting a c c u s e d of xxing your bf. Life is short, y'all.

7. The EMT is l y i n g. His ears are red and his answers have attitude with the defense but not the prosecution.

8. Now the EMT is doing the granny breathe. What's with these people?

9. The judge needs to be told to back up off the mic. For days all I’ve heard is her breathing as loud as the testimony being given

10. The judge is in on it too. Soooo funny people!! Of course she’s going to ruin her entire career for this woman. 😂😂😂😂😂 please

11. This is a grotesque framing of an innocent woman by some of the lowest people in a courtroom lying nonstop.

12. Is anyone being held for lying under oath? There were already severel people in this situation. How is this possible??

13. Ive never seen such an unprofessional judge who is incredibly bias 😳 its insane. I really hope the jury is picking up on everything with the witnesses "not remembering" and the judges behavior.

14. It’s sickening to keep hearing the judge sigh, grunt and groan.

15. Wow firefighter Kelly sucks.

16. But this EMT said he tried to talk to Karen at some point doing chest compressions near the beginning, then it wasn’t productive, and so he directed Karen to talk to McLaughlin. At that point he prob did leave. But he said that Karen said she hit him during the initial questioning BEFORE he passed off Karen to McLaughlin who was then supposed to get her to speak more

17. Think in trying to figure out what happened, Karen may have asked, "Did I hit him?". She was beyond traumatized. If she asked that question, I don't think it was an admission of guilt. Jen McCabe may have asked her if she hit him. Especially, after speaking with her own family. She knew he was hit. She most likely learned right away he was hit by one of her own family members and was attacked by the family dog. The guilty projection of the words "hit him" came from the family.

18. Omg why is that judge even in this court room? If she was in Karen’s place I doubt she would want to hear the judge sigh and sustain all the commonwealth gripes 😮

19. So not one person asks “How?” In reference to “I hit him” joke. Every story is different.

20. I really wish they would ALL stop sucking their teeth on every answer. It's so annoying!

21. "You're all set ". Never heard such unprofessional language from a judge.
    And before the state even gets the objection out the judge is sustaining it. If she "sustains" defense objection it's "I'll give him that". She needs a lesson in professionalism plus get kicked out of that position. She's def biased.

22. These people act like it's uncommon to be hysterical if you've found someone you love dead. What a joke!

23. I remember hearing about the story reported by the Boston Globe regarding cover up by the Catholic church. They need to report in cover ups by the legal system here. If they're still in business

26. This is the first trial I have watched where the defense seems competent

27. Its day 3, and already I dont like this Judge! She seems like shes totally on the prosecution side! I dont know the tall Defense lawyer (I think he gave a great opening statement) is but I have heard of and have watched Alan Jackson in action….hes the one that put Phil Spector behind bars!

30. David Yannetti and Alan Jackson are these fools worst nightmare. They are withering on the witness stand, under IMPECCABLE cross examination

31. The prosecutor doesn't have to worry about trying to keep evidence out…the judge is doing it for them with all these sidebars. Definitely needs to recuse herself!!

32. The judge just told the paramedic, dont guess, you need to be sure, then he rewords it to "I'd estimate" she let estimate slide, but isnt estimate another word for guess? She needs to get off the bench

33. Not a fan of this judge!!!!!

34. The judge starts out telling the jury that about it being up to them to decide what they hear on the video!! Wow!! Not to mention, she wouldn't allow defense to play it again. She also didn't want jury to see a photo defense held up last time. Don't they get to see and watch it all during deliberation??

35. So funny but them saying she was the only one hysterical makes her look like the one responsible. If I knew I’d killed someone, especially my BF,I’d be hysterical as well. The other two were just in shock this was even happening.

36. There are dead horses all over that courtroom..,Jackson beats them constantly..,aggravating…I know he’s doing a job but get on with it..

37. Biased judge anyone?? In regards of objection when the states witnesses are caught in a lie??
