Thirty-seven-year-old Laurie Shaver was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in 2020 after her husband, Michael Shaver, had been missing since 2015. His body was discovered buried beneath a concrete slab in Laurie Shaver’s backyard. In a shocking twist, the couple’s daughter confessed to the crime, claiming she shot her father to protect her mother, who allegedly said he was abusing her at the time. If convicted, Laurie Shaver could face life in prison.

Is it reeeally SO hard to understand how to use mics? The witness’ microphone is not even turned ON!!! And the attorneys are standing 20 feet away from theirs. It seems like every courtroom is like this lately. They HAVE mics, but don’t know how to USE them.

Coincidences to me, is a word that do not belong in the dictionary. This lady's defence is built on that, and therefore she should go to jail for a life sentence.
