  1. I like the way this interviewer simply asked questions and let the girl tell her side of the story. While I understand how she feels, the law broken here is probably something like "brandishing" or "aggravated menacing" or somesuch and not really anything else. Do I think this guy needs real consequences for this? Yes, but not a few years in jail like she wants. If this is a first offense something like a suspended sentence and a temporary suspension of his carry permit is probably reasonable. Probably some court-ordered counseling as well. If it isn't a first offense, then I'd hope that the judge does give him the jail time appropriate for all of his offenses put together and make sure he serves all of it. At that point they should probably be looking at a longer-term suspension of his carry permit, and maybe some inpatient time at a looney bin. Once could be a bad day, but twice or more is a pattern and the justice system needs to ramp up the sort of punishment he receives. Threatening folks with deadly force is no joke. Really, he should consider himself lucky that these two weren't prepared to meet the threat of deadly force with actual deadly force.

  2. And this is exactly why it is so hard for legitimate Firearms Owners to not be classified as " Gun Nuts"!
I hope this guy loses his Gun Permit and spends time in the Gray Bar Hotel.
    No need for this.
