More witnesses took the stand Wednesday, April 19 in the triple murder trial against ‘doomsday cult’ mom Lori Vallow Daybell. A detective and forensic accountant testified about Lori’s finances before and after her children, Tylee Ryan and J.J. Vallow, were killed. The ‘doomsday cult’ mom is accused of murdering them. Jurors also heard from one of Lori’s friends, April Raymond, about the accused killer’s time in Hawaii.

I’m surprised that Charles’ death wasn’t investigated more and the police believed it was self-defense. They didn’t find it suspicious that Alex claimed he performed CPR but there was no blood found on his hands from the gunshot wound? Anytime someone is shot, it’s always protocol to investigate the crime to confirm whether or not it was really done in self-defense. I feel like if his death was investigated more, or they believed Charles when he told the police that his wife was out of her mind and started possessing really bizarre beliefs, the deaths of Tylee and JJ could’ve been prevented. I think he would’ve been given custody of the children and they would’ve been saved. The police failed Charles. I’m not sure if the deaths would’ve still occurred but I feel like they would’ve been had Charles still been alive.
I believe that Tammy Daybell's Aunt said it the best I cannot quote but on the terms of the death sentence it would be to easy to just allow those two to be laying on a gurney and just go to sleep but spending everyday in prison for the rest of their life's would be some sort of justice if any…

I'm sorry but if my friend told me she was "done" with her son and was willing to abandon him, we would no longer be friends. How can you call yourself a mother or a "god fearing" person if you are willing to leave your kid because they are inconvenient to you. I wouldn't even be friends with someone that did that to a pet, let alone a child. How did everyone just accept that behaviour?

This woman stripped those two kids of literally everything good in their lives before ordering a hit on them. Withholding JJ’s medication, getting rid of his dog, taking control of Tylee’s money, moving them away, having their father figure killed (not in that order), etc. it’s heartbreaking just to think of those things alone and to know how those kids must have been feeling in the months leading up to their deaths. And then they suffered the ultimate betrayal at the hands of their mother. It’s disgusting and sick. This jury needs to find her guilty.

The state removed the death penalty for her but she is still fighting it. Putting her only surviving child through this again just let’s me know she is all about Herself. So Lori just happened to have Alex and Charles at her house at the same time, and Alex just happened to have a gun. Lori just happened to steal Charles's phone, and Charles just happened to have to go back into her house to demand his phone, and she just happened to not give it back to him and to start shouting at him. Alex just happened to shoot him, to "protect" his poor innocent little sister. Nice way to pick a fight, Lori. You are an evil woman.

Why would a mother who is financially tight allow her 17 year old daughter have such a expensive car payment. The girl never even finished high school. What was she teaching her daughter about responsibility. I can afford that payment but it’s a bad message to send your child. Lori was a bad mom and never had her kids in first priority. She was off balance long before Chad was involved. She needs to be accountable for all the harm she has caused. Poor Charles. He really did try. He probably never thought she could be that sick.

I think Lori may need to evaluate her own behavior. Shoe was accusing everyone she murdered of acting strangely, calling them zombies but in looking at her appearance and actions I think it’s clear that if anyone has transformed into a zombie it would be she and Chad. She isn’t beautiful any more, quite evil and she and Chad are doing the murdering or at least instructing that her entire family be murdered leaving her remaining son alone with the exception his wife and children.
