A man was arrested after allegedly stealing and eating a sandwich inside Target in Washington DC on June 20. Authorities said the suspect, who has not been named, was pepper sprayed after refusing to “put the sandwich down.” The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie breaks it down.

It appears the "arrest" may have damaged more items than were assumed stolen. It would have been cheaper for the store and the city, to have just paid for the sandwich. The mans focus seems to be eating the sandwich, as opposed to creating a scene.
