In this episode of Crime Watch Daily Updates: Eighteen-year-old Zoe Campos lived in Lubbock, Texas, and had a lot going for her. But all of that was taken away when she went missing November 17, 2013.
Zoe was last seen with a man named Carlos Rodriguez, and her whereabouts remained unknown for five years until Carlos came forward with a startling admission. In November 2018, Carlos revealed that he killed Zoe and buried her body in his backyard.
In a confession letter sent to media outlets in 2019, Carlos said he and Zoe smoked synthetic marijuana, and it made him believe Zoe became a demon. He strangled her to death, then buried her in the yard.
In August 2022, Carlos pleaded guilty to murder, and he was sentenced to life in prison. He will be eligible for parole after 30 years.
Let’s look back at Zoe Campos’ story and her family’s search for answers years after her disappearance.
Well this 18-years old baby girl was hanging out at night, dated men and was doing drugs. How come her family accepted life like that? Is it normal in USA? Matter of time something will happen if you are dating men to do drugs with them.
So wait …hold up! So the mom called the daughter but the phone rang and rang "one" time then she " called the "second" time and it went to voicemail ? I have a teen aged son. I will speed dial his cell, back to back, just to make sure he gets the right items on my list…let alone if he were missing. Who would murder someone then ride around the town in her car with duct tape and the kidnap kit. Then they don't leave the state…they post up in a local motel? Come on now. This story doesn't make sense for a reason. Look at the eyes ( and i mean really look)of that family theres no life there. Just as I'm typing this she says look into my eyes and my daughters eyes. I KNEW IT!Even before before the murder their eyes look dead.
The fact that the general consensus believes that a demon will only appear with horns and hooved feet is mind blowing
God bless this family. Prayers your babygirl comes back to you.
This narrator is incredibly annoying, there's enough drama in a murder case, just talk like a normal person, ffs.
So people will sit here and believe the motive of a evil person who did such a devastating thing , I dont believe it was because of synthetic weed I believe its because she said no or something or was held against her will .
I think the question should be why did they put a wrong title
Lets say he usinh that as an escape plan

Amazing how often the killer in cold cases turns out to be the last person to see the victim alive. And that person is often the partner, too.
