  1. I first want to say that I love this podcast, and YouTube channel. While listening to this case, I felt like you both were not treating this as a tragedy or focusing on the victims or their families. Sounded more like a reaction to a stand-up comedy special. You borderline made the shooter sound like he was smart with his defense strategy. Multiple times you brought up how the shooter did such a great job to humanize himself, and testify, without being able to be cross, examined, and how that could possibly be genius. I do agree the questions that he asked the victims on stand or just crazy, and wild. Barely scratch the surface of how this can read traumatize the victims due to him representing himself. I understand that views are important, and pays the bills and employees of the channel completely 100%. The way you made it sound was that you thought the trial/court case should have received more views, because of how comical it was, and not because this man was hell-bent on a revenge plot to take innocent lives. I’m using talk to text, sorry for the grammatical errors. I love your reports and I will continue watching. I am just baffled how you handled this one.

  2. This is why I hate these podcast videos !!! I’m 6 mins into the video and I don’t know anyone’s name age or anything introducing the people in the case youre just unorganized and all over the place talking this hardly journalism

  3. I have never made comments on true crime daily but this can't pass. I think it's the height of insensitivity to hold a wedding on the same day of the funeral of a fellow clergy whom your son murdered in the same place he was murded . It's total lack of empathy and respect for the grieving family. This is not to say that Dale did the right thing but I can imagine his pain.

  4. Dale did what we would want to do if we were in the same position… we just don’t have the balls … he does. Dale is letting it be known that people should be a bit more sympathetic and considerate of others.

  5. Gawd!!!
This could have been half as long. This is probably the worst True Crime daily episode I've ever seen. Bouncing it back and forth between two people that repeat each other every sentence was not helpful at all. This is just time that I'll never get back. I love True Crime daily and Anna in particular is my favorite, but this was horribly repetitive, convoluted and just plain bad from the beginning.

  6. Vocal Fry is very much over so please stop. It's as annoying as Valley Girl speak if not worse. yeah.. it's worse.
Now to get rid of wheezing laughter- Thank goodness you've avoided that one. So please don't.m You're now old enough to just be you. .

  7. I'm against violence in all forms, that being said I hope the kid doesn't get a lot of time. Whoever made the decision to schedule both events on the same day is complicit in this murder .So sad arguing over scriptures are you kidding me. I can understand a debate, I can understand a spirited debate. But to come to murder 😢. You make all Christians look crazy. We are definitely regressing as a society. We will tear ourselves apart from the inside. We can't discuss politics or religion without wanting to beat each other up or worse. To be an enlightened society we have to be able to talk about anything without reverting to violence. This is absolutely horrible!!!!

  8. the one who got murder (his stepfather)..is not just a father..he's a good father if the com'ty…and it's just so unremorseful that despite the fact that he just killed a man?!…will enjoy the wedding same church?…
    Where are your justifications ?

  9. I just got a thought.. Dale takes the father out.. and most likely will end up in the same prison as Brandon?. While Dale is in prison he contracts a hit on Brandon. He doesn't go down for Brandon's murder, serves his time and eventually will be free. Attempted murder, isn't 1st degree murder. Just a twisted (made for TV) thought. Still extremely sad all around.

  10. everyone is somehow justifying the first case, do you realise how insane it is to meditate picking up your gun and ruining a wedding, shooting the BRIDE when it was the groom's son????? you have to be utterly sick and deranged, reevaluate yourselves

  11. Lol!!! 44 yrs ago i asked my neighbor, a Baptist minister, to marry us on Christmas Eve. He checked his schedule, and fit us in, not even 10 mins after it. 1 of my sons was to be baptized at my parents house, but a huge windshear hit where the reverend lived. We just found another paster who could do it. $hit happens 😂😂 move on, make it funny and laugh!

  12. No murder is ever justifiable, but if there's ever a possibility of inmate rehabilitation, Dale seems like a viable candidate. Despite his tragic upbringing, the fact that he clearly showed compassion for his stepfather gave me a slight ray of hope that given adequate treatment/resources, that he could have a chance at turning things around. Unless, of course, he gets lost in the prison system, which, sadly, happens all too often…

  13. Speaking as someone who grew up in a small town, this kind of familiarity is, well familiar to me (murder and shooting aside). It doesn't come up in conversation that often, but when it does, I always describe it this way: "You can't even sneeze without the whole town hearing about it by next morning." Cue theme song from Cheers

P.S.: If anybody else wants to share what their small-town experiences were like, feel free to like or comment!

  14. Dale should have 1000% got an insanity plea deal and served a year of jail time at most for attacking his attorney. But this bride and groom and their whole family and church family seem to be absolutely heartless and nutty to have a wedding on the same damn day as the funeral of the pastor of that church -causing people to have to choose which to attend. It’s all so insensitive and so bizarre. How could you not have anymore respect and sympathy for your own pastor and his family’s grief?! Makes me wonder if there was also some racism going on here too considering the murdered pastor was black and the others involved are white.

  15. He prolly beat up his public pretender cause he was doing a horrible , job , he needed that law library 📚 in prison , there’s many good lawyers in PRISONS, access to. Computers , paper work , etc , The law library!!!!😮

  16. FACTS, Betrayal bye the CHURCH , Community, neighbor alike ,, basically quietly laughing,, throw a party , a celebration of life and future promises, while this man life was just SHATTERED !!!!!!!!! We gotta do BETTER !!!!!!!!! This is JUST WRONG !!!!!!!!! 🙏. You took my DAD , I’m taking Your DAD !!!!!! Sounds more like a crime of PASSION , DALE , loved his DAD !!!!!! Shame on the CHURCH , esp , cause his father was a pastor there , so why wasn’t the church closed all at the pastors FUNERAL !!!!!!!! CRAZY !!!!
