Lyle Menendez, who’s serving a life sentence for the murder of his parents along with his brother Erik, called into CrimeCon earlier this week leaving the audience shocked. Menendez called during a presentation by one of his lawyers, Mark Geragos, and NewsNation correspondent Laura Ingle. The Menendez brothers are asking to be released from prison claiming they have new evidence to support their claim that their father, Jose, sexually abused them and that their mother, Kitty, did nothing to stop it. The other 48 hours show named another lawyer in both boys (men's) cases. When did Geragos get involved in this case?
These men need to be released asap. Their 2cd trial was WRONG on all levels. The judge already had his mind made up soon as he knew he was gonna be the judge in this trail. Let these men go. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

that is extreme oversimplification of the situation. and it makes me angry to hear a professional ,supposedly, speaking that way…. I am the same age as Eric menendez, I am from Central California and I followed this case as it happened. they 100% had a severely abusive parent and they cracked finally they couldn't take it anymore.

There where photos of those boys nude and in positions no parent should be posing them in on Jose's phone. There is no doubt in my mind those boys weren't abused by their dad. That prosecutor is ridiculous!!

Prison is NOT supposed to be fun! It is NOT supposed to make prisoners' lives happier , perks for prisoners should not be at taxpayers' monies! Stop decriminalizing murders! Stop breaking the law and ending up in prison. Too many benefits as it is in prison! Disgusting!
The man was molesting him as a child. This case feels like we punish real victims and perpetrators rights are more valuable than true victims. It's backwards from what it should be. A large majority of the public did not think those boys deserved that sentence.
