In Park City, Utah, a 73 year old bicyclist named Gary Peacock followed a 22 year old driver into a park. Claiming the young driver drove “too close” to him, as Peacock was riding his bike in the road, Peacock forcibly held the young man in his car, refusing to allow him to leave, as he called the police. The 22 year old, Pierce Kempton, uploaded the video to social media and it went viral. I spoke with him and got the full story.

  2. I’m an avid cyclist, this elitist 73 year old is nuts and he should pack in the cycling for the rest of his days1 Fortunately the 22 year old had a dash cam, but regardless, the 73 year old was never touched by the driver + he clearly avoided the psycho cyclist in the video!

  3. It looks like “roid rage.” Overreacting to a situation and losing your temper happens when taking certain steroids.
Old guy trying to pretend he is still physically fit as any 30 year old and goes off on a teenager …..
He is could be taking testosterone and growth hormone injections.
Wealthy ones can get these pharmaceuticals easily.

  4. i had an angry old man do the same thing to me once, i could only move over as far as the yellow line because there was oncoming traffic, and as a tow truck driver ive been in the situation where an angry person wont let me leave and the police have never done anything about it, they just dont consider it a serious enough problem to warrant the drama and paperwork, so it doesnt matter what laws there are to prevent people from blocking you in if the cops are to lazy to enforce it

  5. A nice guy pulled off the Highway 2 weeks ago Near Park City UT.. Some kind of a road rage incident. He was shot in the Head. They think it was a White Jeep Gladiator.

  6. I am sorry, you may respect the young man for his restraint, but all I have to say to the old man is, you are very lucky it wasn't someone like me. The police would have arrived to an unconscious man down. Enough said. The young man should get the mans details and sue him for assault and battery and kidnap. Double jeopardy is prosecuting someone for the same crime. His crime was never cited, so therefore he can be prosecuted. It just shows we have a multi-tier justice system. the us and them system if you will. It is disgusting and it needs to end. The cop was a tool and a tyrant and a disgrace to the badge.

  7. About a billion of these idiots moved here to sw colo. Pulling this crap on mountain roads with no shoulder. Always screeching they're calling the police. The Colorado State Patrol does not play those games.

  8. Some of these comments just show outright disrespect for other people.

Yes, he took it too far, but I understand his anger.

Yes, bicyclists will slow you down from time to time and take an entire 15 seconds off your commute.

The horror, the unspeakable horror!!!! I can guarantee you 80% of you stop IN the crosswalk, never before it. As a cyclist I don't trust you people. I'll walk my bike at crosswalks, and have saved at least a dozen people from involuntary manslaughter charges by assuming you have no intention to stop.
