A former Miss Switzerland finalist was allegedly murdered by her husband inside their home in Binningen. Kristina Joksimovic was then chopped up and allegedly “pureed” in a blender. Investigators say her husband, Thomas, first said he found her dead and panicked, then later admitted to killing her in self-defense. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down the gruesome crime.

What I dont understand is the part at the veeery beginning where she states "investigators knew that she was strangled, then pureed.". She alluded to the fact that (or so it seemed) that they found her "body." But this was when they determined her husband had killed her. This is also before he is in custody. If she is liquefied, and they haven't talked to the husband yet, where are they getting all this information from? How were they able to surmise strangulation preceded being pureed if the body is liquid, and he as yet is not caught, ergo, they have no proof of this happening, per se.
