Madalina Cojocari vanished after getting off her school bus in 2022 and her mother didn’t report her missing until nearly a month later. Diana Cojocari was found guilty of failure to report her child missing and spent over 500 days in jail before being released. While investigators still believe Madalina is alive 19 months later, she has yet to turn up. Diana was recently named a suspect in the 13-year-old’s disappearance and allegedly fled the country just days after police announced their suspicions. Diana has yet to be charged. 1. I hate this world we live in!! 😢why do these things have to happen to children, why do people want to hurt them. I do t understand 😭 please stop hurting these children. I want off this planet. Prayers she gets justice and is found.

  2. The local news reported that she would be deported when she was released from jail. North Carolina does not care about kids being in school, look into it. We fight schools to go check on kids all the time. I’ve seen kids pulled out of public school to be homeschooled and they are never checked on.

  3. Poor sweet little girl. I hope they find her safe but I know very sadly it’s not looking that way. I have a strong feeling her mom is involved. It’s beyond imaginable that her mother could be involved but that’s how it seems.

  4. When my daughter didn't get off from school bus one day (she was in elementary), I ran behind bus all the way to the next stop with my heart exploding from fear "where is my daughter? " . And she just got distracted and missed her stop. Driver laughed, and said "I would bring her back after I drop off all the other kids in their stops". I know it looked funny, maybe crazy, but that's what mothers do, and how quickly they react when their child is not there. I would not have health to wait another 30-40 minutes just to see if my daughter will appear or not. I better died right there. I would run again, I don't care what others think.
This case in the news is definitely sad one and heart breaking. No child should go through pain and fear. 😢

  5. People don’t realize how many children don’t go to school regularly, and as a social worker, in many of more abusive or neglectful situations, I see terrible school attendance. They probably held the meeting to try and figure out why attendance is so bad. Schools have a delicate balance of support and responsibility without being too intrusive as this pushes people away. Here in Canada, not going to school doesn’t even meet the threshold for a referral for follow up. But, we know it’s usually a sign of issues. How bad or how intense, becomes clearer through investigations.

  6. These type cases make me look at all those milk carton disappearance in the 80s and 90s so much differently! There has to be many of those children that weren't killed by serial killers or abductions but the family!! Alot of killers walking around before surveillance cameras and ring doorbell cameras!
