I want to share my thoughts about this case: I hope the mama sued the police and child protective service. I mostly blame child protective service, because instead of doing a thorough investigation, they seriously took the words of the grandmother. They let the girl get kidnapped, and now the mama has been in pain for 20 years without knowing where her daughter is or if she’s even okay. Both the sperm donor and his wicked egg donor could rot in prison. Everyone else who’s involved need to be brought up charges as well cuz they’re hiding them.
This breaks my heart. Truly sad. I hope this mother gets to hold her little girl again and hold those accountable for failing her.

Just an update idk if anyone has said or not but they did find her alive in January 2021 unfortunately she wants nothing to do with her mother and has asked to have her story kept away from the media. I hope with time she will come around to speaking with her mother.

Omg this story blew my mind, not for its content but because something so very very similar happened to me but I live Australia, my daughter is now 24 and whilst I finally did get to see her again some time later whatever they said to her in those years about me has left her with an internal hatred for me that is so strong I had to 2yrs ago cease all contact because the things she would say about me to anyone who would listen and how she treated me most of the time became so painful and heartbreaking I just couldn't take anymore.
It was also my ex's mother who was the driving force for taking my daughter, she had had 4 sons and had told me supposedly in a joking manner while I was pregnant "it better be a girl or you can shove it right back where it came from coz I'll want nothing to do with it"
Well I did have a girl, I was only 18 I had absolutely no family of my own, my closest family was my sister who was even younger than me and she was 2000kms away.
Anyways.
I really really hope you get your Sweet Pea back and that she isn't brain washed.

This is a side story from the beginning to the end 20 years even if they don’t brainwashed her daughter there is no connection with the daughter but I hope she will get chance just to see her even if the daughter says that she has nothing to deal with her mom
