Shannon Hiott was 29 when her ex-boyfriend, Chance Donohoe, broke into her home in August 2023 and stabbed her 37 times. Hiott had broken up with Donohoe over his drug use and had tried to warn other women about him on social media groups. Prosecutors in Columbus, Ohio say Donohoe saw those warnings and it made him angry. Never understood "Life in prison with poss of parole after 31 years" So if he gets paroled in 31 years it is not a life sentence. Where is the truth in sentencing?

I was really moved by Lana’s words, my sister means the world to me and those moments of sharing are so precious, my heart breaks for her💕
Wise advice to trust your instincts too, it’s taken many years for me to do that, previously suppressing those feelings as I hated confrontation, I have a chance to teach my daughter and son to follow theirs. Just so cruel her life was taken in this way.

These groups have literally thousands of members in them. It is very possible that some of the “women” in the group are actually men posing as women. The group relies on regular people to operate as the group admin so it’s very likely people slip through the cracks.
Why is it always males that I hear about committing horrendous crimes.
Truth is the mental health card is way overused for the attempt of a leaner sentence. I can't see how they justify parole when clearly this was a monstrous act that could easily happen again by his hands.
She could've sent u to jail for stealing from her or the drugs but instead warned people he is trying to get with.
