Mother Allegedly Murders Her 3 Kids After Having Postpartum Psychotic Break

1. Mother with infant + two other children + husband who works at home + homemaker responsibility + PLANING ON RETURNING TO WORK = Insanity

3. He might of been in on it too….They both look looney. Check and see if one or both are having affairs and the kids are no longer wanted….or never were wanted. 3 small kids …. that's a lot to handle. Did they hear about Birth Control?

4. Post partum psychosis does not typically involve such a well thought out, detailed plan of murder… Not a crime of "passion" either.

20. Definitely guilty! She googled methods of killing her children 4 days before she executed her plan. Was a “voice” telling her to google that? Because she only mentioned hearing a voice the night she took their lives. What compelled her to look up ways to kill her children if 4 days later the “voice” was to blame? When she heard this voice telling her to harm her children, why didn’t she call 911 and say that she was afraid she’d hurt the kids if she was alone with them? Why didn’t she say no to the voice? Did the voice threaten to hurt her if she failed to carry out the plan?

22. Any person who commits such heinous crimes are obviously mentally ill. School shooters are mentally ill and criticized. Either way why does she get a pass, why blame everybody else? So many things she herself did wrong but all we focus on is blaming others. The kids are victims here and all we focus on is poor Lindsey.

29. We have GOT to start looking at these medications and over prescribing that is happening in our country. The side effects of the medications are many times just as bad if not worse than the mental illness themselves.

30. The court statute of ‘insane’ is downright archaic and had no basis in science, it’s high time it be changed. That definition ‘insane means you didn’t know right from wrong’ came from a case that was literally from the 1800s.

36. Funny cause I’m on subutex for pain fioricet for headaches which is a Barbiturate, antidepressant, anti viral, and after the hospital I was on Roxy 10mg to and this was after I gave birth and I NEVER thought of hurting my kids even though my mind was all over the place.

37. Linsey Clancey was on numerous psych drugs. One of the drugs she was on caused a famous psychiatrist to go psychotic and have himself put in a medically induced coma because he could not tolerate the withdrawal symptoms. The medication klonopin causes psychosis in many, and this woman was on that and dozens of other drugs. I had a doctor do the "Medication dance' years ago after a trauma left me depressed, your brain is fried, and that is without adding in 3 meds known for causing psychosis (klonopin, ativan and ambien are all known for having major withdrawal issues including psychosis).

    Everybody keeps saying this mom was a great mom. What if she really was a great mom who went crazy from the meds? I was seeing things and hit my husband in the face thinking he was trying to kill me while coming of this medication, and I was totally stable at the time and never had any issues. I thought my couch was trying to eat me! The brain literally goes into hyperdrive (that was how a doctor explained it to me)

    imagine you are a loving mom, you have child number 3 and have depression. A doctor puts you on meds, you have no idea what is going on, one minute you are fine, the next you are in a state of confusion thinking those around you are trying to harm you. Now imagine you wake up in a hospital and once the numerous psych drugs get out of your system you find yourself paralyzed only to be told you killed your kids.
