Mother of 3 presumed dead, husband charged; Cops say 6-year-old intentionally shot teacher

1. I'm in the UK and I have a child with special needs. He's currently in a mainstream primary school, however even though he has an EHCP (Educational Health and Care Plan), the school are supposed to have funding through the government to give him 1:1 teaching at all times. This hasn't been happening, so we are now having to look at getting him into a special needs school that's more suitable for him. They just tend to leave my son to wander around the school(to the point they've nearly lost him a number of times), they don't give a toss about kids that are not at the standards they want them to be. My other child who is now in secondary school was always in top set for everything, so he was a "favourite".

2. I just found this episode. Do you think children playing violent videos at a young age cause them to know more about violence? I can’t imagine my children doing that. They were playing and watching cartoons. The parents need to be evaluated to see what goes on in the home. He could be exposed to violence. So he thinks that’s how you handle things if you’re upset.

10. I think he had the gun in his pants pocket and I’m sure they weren’t allowed to search his body. At that point you call the police and allow them to search this child!

11. Children are so creative and it doesn’t surprise me a child can get at a weapon. This child fully intended to shoot the teacher. He also threatened to shoot other classmates the same day the teacher was shot!

13. At that school, there was a rule for every teacher to search every students book bag every single day! But beyond that, there were many reports of this child having the gun on him. The principle made the decision to do nothing bc the school day was almost over and the kids would be going home anyway!

14. Oh he killed her, I sure the kids aren’t put in his mother’s care. They should be put in Annna’s parents care.
    This 6 yr old said he was gonna kill his teacher. But many Administrators knew much earlier in the day he had the weapon on him and did NOTHING! I believe he said he was going to kill that bitch!
    Instead he gets put in a Psychiatric hospital and his mother gets arrested for his actions!
    The teacher refuses to go back to work and she is sueing the school system. Rightfully so!

18. sooner or later, we have to get over this delusion that every child should be in school.
    some children are unfit to be in school. they refuse to work or learn anything. they are a danger to other students. their presence stops OTHER kids from learning.

19. The mother was sentenced to 21 months in prison for owning a gun while being a marijuana user. There are other charges pending in relation to the shooting.

20. How did a 6 year old get his hands on a real gun????? There is NO excuse for this. I don’t believe the gun was secured.

24. We need more facilities available for special needs children. Our most precious get the short end of the stick so often with CPS, educational system, professional help accessible and affordable, legal system, and let me count the ways sadly.

30. I do not doubt any of this. I decided to stop subbing at one school for challenged children when I found myself straddling a PRE-K student who I had to literally pin down with my entire body. He was upset and tried to throw a chair at another student in the class. PRE-K😳. He was so out of control that I had to subdue him until help came to take him out of the room.

    I have also encountered young children (1st or 2nd grade) who are threatening to kill both teachers and students and burn the school to the ground. The teachers were TERRIFIED of a 7-8 year old CHILD because of his violent outburst. It is extremely disturbing to see such anger and aggression in a child that young.

36. Still waiting for anyone ever who discusses this type of content stuff to address the absolute FACT that this type of mental illness is 100% created by shitty parenting. Personality disorders are 100% down to shitty parenting. People are NOT born with personality disorders. People are screwing up their kids. The breakdown of the family unit. This is the root cause of almost every issue when someone asks "what is wrong with the world and youth today" but no one ever wants to address it. Too afraid to offend. The school and the "system" is then blamed for what starts at home.

42. WE have parots that stay with SN children one an one at school they check there ETCbooks bags etc its so sad our schools dont have the money for this this where we as the people need make our Rs at our states so sad for kids an teachers
