In this episode of Crime Watch Daily Updates: The case of 22-year-old Holly Cassano, a new mother who worked two jobs to support her 17-month-old daughter.

On November 1, 2009, Cassano’s mom watched the infant while Holly went to work, and she stayed late because one of her co-workers made cookies and she wanted to partake in trying them. When Cassano failed to pick up the baby the next day, her mom became concerned and went to check on her, but what she found would change her life: Cassano had been stabbed over 60 times in her home. Investigators, however, found evidence that the person who attacked her had been injured during a struggle and that Holly’s body moved after being killed.

In 2018, Michael Henslick was arrested and charged with murder thanks to DNA found on a cigarette butt. He was later convicted and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Henslick and Cassano went to went high school together and supposedly had some mutual friends.

Let’s take a look back at Cassano’s murder, a tragic story of a young mom’s life who was cut short.

  1. I keep trying to get my family to watch these so that they'll be cautious but they don't 😣 It's important to be aware

  2. This girl was from my town. I was friends with Michaels younger brother & my cousins went to school with Holly & Michael. To this day, I'm so shocked. I'm so happy Holly, her child and her mother got justice.

  3. I have a lot more to add to this story. I was the friend she saw before going home. I was the friend she texted "hey" I was the one who told her how to defend herself to get that guys DNA. I am personally heartbroken. I even had to take a DNA test to exclude me from the list of suspects…

  4. I’m confused at how this video is laid out, you start off saying a man was convicted but end it saying we need your help in this case and needing tips??

  5. No more podcast!!! I want to see true crime daily as they used to do. I do not like these podcast at all. Actual people who knew the people who were murdered!

  6. please, please, please. use your right to self defense. no one deserves to be murdered in cold blood, NO ONE. we all have the right to live, and we have a responsibility to defend it!

  7. We're all going to leave this world one way or another. Some will die sick, others will be killed/commit suicide /be involved in deadly accidents.

  8. It’s really sad that this one pretty girl in a small town had at least 2 guys out to harm her. Unreal that women are STILL not safe after centuries of oppression.

  9. I wish there was more info in these update videos! I noticed it in the Alexis Murphy update the other day too, just a quick vague update and then replaying the old episode. Maybe they can't discuss it for legal reasons?

  10. I always thought when a dude told a female that he always had a crush on her from Grammar school or high School kind of suspect because here we are 10 15 or 20 years later and you're telling her this you don't know where someone's psyche been all these years yeah it's cool to let a female know that you always was important to them to a certain extent because you have to become an adult and grow out of it but as soon as they said that they went to school with each other I already knew this guy probably was watching her for years and it probably messed up his mental seeing her live life start a family and grow it is sad and she was a very beautiful woman and I hope that she could rest in peace now this waste of space will be locked up for the rest of his life πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½

  11. Yeah 11 mins worth of video for
This young mother. No mother should ever have to find they’re Child in such a manner.
May she Rest In Peace my condolences to her family and friends
