Rapper Boosie Badazz, born Torrence Hatch Jr., was arrested by federal agents on gun charges after leaving a court hearing in California on June 14. The ATF arrested the 40-year-old rapper immediately after walking out of a San Diego courthouse where a case on other gun-related charges against him was dismissed. Authorities said they used an Instagram video allegedly showing Hatch Jr. in possession of a firearm to arrest him. The Law&Crime Network’s Jesse Weber breaks it down with YNW Melly’s former attorney, Bradford Cohen. The criminal defense attorney said the arrest was “not surprising” to him and that law enforcement is “hammering down” on rappers for firearms-related crimes.

  1. Helicopter over a ig picture…. Sounds about right. 🤔 kids getting swiped and people getting killed…. Oh "we need the community's help" but from a ig video, pull out the helicopters… 😂😂

  2. The psycho killer angry side came out. 9 bodies and your found not guilty cuzz Marlo Mike didn't want to rat. They most definitely was watching him after that. I think he threatened to spit on one of the cops as well. That eff the San Diego PD statement at a concert didn't sit well with many either. 🎯💯

  3. The Feds are going to keep on that guy till they get him, from what I have seen and heard about that guy he needs to be taken off the streets because he is a menace to society and it's inevitable that he will commit more dangerous crimes and the old saying is what goes around comes around.

  4. Wow fake news!!! Here's why yeah dudes a lawyer but he got lil Wayne a pardon from Trump. So it has already revealed that Trump was selling his pardons well ruddy was for about a million dollars per pardon minimum. That's important because he's acting as if his legal expertise got lil Wayne the pardon!!!! Another point of contention is you only get a pardon when you've already been proven guilty in a court of law. So in my opinion this lawyer is exhibits about the same legal level as a top tier public defender. In the Boosie case to provide proof that a gun in a photo is the same as the gun found is a long stretch of the imagination for anyone who sits on the jury. Let's keep in mind the defense only has to come up with reasonable doubt. In fact convincing only one or more people out of 12 is all the convincing you need to do. That is more than likely the reason why the state dropped the case originally. The feds take people to court to make a couple of things happen. One of those things is that it effects your financial situation as legal fees are way more expensive than legal representation in a state case. Another thing is that whenever you have a federal case pending you will have certain restrictions in place that will leave you with a legal trap of sorts while you are out on bail. It simply sets you up to get another case. That happens to alot of defendants while out on bail. Also rights are limited by the courts allowing the feds to be able to do certain things without any problems. They could search you and the immediate area you're in without a warrant or obtain a search warrant alot easier. So get the case resolved before the court as quickly as possible to resume your life and restore your rights and protect your privacy and freedom from the government. So while the government tangles up your money and your life rights included. Other people in your circle become targeted too. You may have enough money to keep yourself out of legal jeopardy but now one of your children or parents may catch a weak case to either flip them on you or make you take a plea deal so that they won't prosecute your family members. Welcome to the big leagues sort to speak. The thing about this is that these lawyers are not capable at all when they step up to the feds. Because most of them never really ever went to trial against the feds. Because most fed cases get plead out that is the reason why they have such a high conviction rate over 90 percent successful in the conviction of criminals.

  5. Funny how they won’t find a video of a county commissioner who smacked his truck into a tree because he was drunk which was posted and the officer allowed him to go free. He could have killed someone.

  6. Pardon for a million dollars because Trump was illegally profiting off of his pardon powers…. lock Trump up in prison to espionage because if it was everybody else they would have already been sentence.
