9. I’m a retired lieutenant and I think a question I want answered is… what academy class taught you that strikes to the head weren’t deadly force and was an accepted practice for compliance?

10. I have a hard time sympathizing with the young woman. I feel like she brought the situation all on herself by interfering when the cops were trying to talk to her boyfriend and then not co-operating with the cops when they were trying to normalize the situation, and keep things calm.

    If you don't co-operate with the cops, there's chance you might get roughed-up or shot because the cops will take you down and/or shoot.

    We can't let police use "officer safety!" as an excuse to violate all of our constitutional rights! Something has to be done. Cops need much better training on the law and our civil rights. 40. I have been involved in 3 incidents where police reports were made. Even when I was lawfully detained the police reports were never accurate to the events that happened.
