  1. It’s so obvious that these are just a bunch of racist cops. They are too thick headed to ever learn that they are the reason people hate the police and don’t trust a word out of their mouths.

  2. State police settled lawsuit over 2020 traffic stop of Black law student for $267,500. State police spokeswoman Cindy Murphy confirmed Payton remains on the force as a trooper first class. According to the state transparency website, his annual salary is $59,915. Murphy said the state police have not made any policy or procedural changes as a result of the incident or settlement.

  3. They done this to me in the rain with a dog. Damn dog tore up my car with its claws an put gross wet road grime all inside my car. Cops reason was because it was 11pm an a 2 door accord looked like a drug dealer car

  4. The cop is standing so closely to the kid…if it were me I would be so uncomfortable with him standing less than 6 inches from me.

  5. Update: they settled in court for$267,000 without admittance guilt. He also passed his bar exam and is now a lawyer. His dad was a judge and is now in private practice as alawyer.

  6. I wish ATA would wait until longer after the interaction so we could get a more complete story. I always want to know if justice was served at the end.
