I feel like this guy got the cold shoulder and ultimately had the cops called because he was from out of town and the employee was annoyed with him. This type of shit happens all the time now. Asking someone questions is verboten in our customer service now. It doesn’t matter a person approaches the situation or their attitude. Ask questions and you get shit like this.
I also would like to know what major future crimes have been solved when cops are called in situations like this and the person won’t identify? Criminals will not go into a government building and ask questions. This “we were called” so you need to identify yourself needs to stop. If the person is driving a motor vehicle, that’s different. Situations like this need to end.
