  1. Agree, there are many more police officers who engage with the public with integrity and respect. Even considering the "defund police" is ludicrous. Fake news folks,,,, support the police.❤

  2. That officer should be freaking Chief. He is the perfect example of what all officers should strive to be. He was so kind to her,.and he had empathy for her injury.

  3. The comment at the end of the video about not lumping all police officers into one category or another was very well articulated and fair.

  4. 14:24
“The nature of the human condition does not allow for societal issues to be painted with such a broad brush.”

    14:36
“Humans and the society that we have built are extremely complex and relegating your perspective on any societal issue to a one size fits all structure is careless and lazy.”

  5. I have a reasonable cause for officers to test for alcohol blood content based on claims of just two beers:

It’s almost never just two beers. I work at a place that sells alcohol and almost everyone who shows signs of drunkenness and/or smells drunk, claims to have had two beers. Then you talk more and find out oh actually “We drank for a few hours at a bar lol.” Plus you DO NOT smell and act that drunk with two beers.

Always assume more than two beers. People think “If I say two it makes sense and I won’t get in trouble for drinking or lying because I admitted I had some.” Doesn’t matter whether college student or adult.

  6. Can you operate a tracked trolley drunk as a skunk? I know it's much simpler but that seems like a weird exclusion with a probably funny back story.

  7. NARRATOR: The civilian's white. THAT'S why the police treated her well. If she was black, the engagement would be clearly different.

  8. one of these days i just need this channel to drop all pretenses and just start saying stuff like "It is clear from the footage that Mrs. Rushman was *fucking wasted*."

  9. Well done. It’s VERY refreshing to see cops behaving properly. Although, as a feminist, the pet names like “dear” were unnecessary and slightly condescending. Otherwise, he did a great job keeping everything calm and orderly… damned if it wasn’t even friendly. 😮

  10. Asleep at the Wheel. Great band. Lol. I drove 11 mikes on an interstate after working a 36 hr shift. Cop thought i was DWI, but i was just asleep. Cop was amazed at how well i was driving, incuring maintaining speed. What got me was constantly changing lanes.

  11. The officer was professional, direct and kind to Kathy. He recognized shed gone to the casino, possibly only had two beers, because depending whether it was an ale or lager the alcohol content can vary greatly. Shes not very big, plus remarked about having been through chemo and recently broke her foot so she might also be recieving pain med. Over all the officer was fair and she was impaired, quiet a bit . She guessed 4, 1-10. Which probably means 5-6

  12. The level of Professionalism afford to this white elderly lady is seldomly (almost never) afforded to a sober color elderly women. This encounter depicts the implicit or explicit bias officers have for minorities women. If this was a color elderly woman, she would have been ripped from her car and body slammed for simply parking on the shoulder of the road.

  13. As a Paramedic I learned early in my career that one drink can mean many thing depending on the size of the one drink. I had a call, in the morning that was exhibiting symptoms of being hung over. When asked he admitted to being at a party the night before but was positive he only had one drink. I asked him about his one drink in several different ways and he finally stead his one dring was one quart of vodka!

  14. This woman has not learned LESSON #1 with cops…. You do NOT talk to cops. You say the absolute minimum required by law and NOTHING more.

  15. Look at how the coward cop stands back behind the woman because he just KNOWS she will hurt him. Poor, little piggy has to go change his panties.
