Officers Attempt To Enforce Policy As Law – Everything Law and Order Blog

Welcome to Audit The Audit, where we attempt to separate the who and what and the right and wrong in police interactions. Help us grow and educate more citizens and officers on the proper officer interaction conduct by liking this video and/or subscribing.

Officers often attempt to enforce their departmental policies or the policies of other organizations as if they are common law. Only the members of organizations who operate under the umbrella of those policies are subject to their discretion. Citizens are not obligated to follow the policies enforced by independent organizations.

  1. In order for a constable to adequately enforce the law, they MUST be firstly effectively and completely versed and educated in said law. Or they have zero right to be enforcing any law in the first place.

  2. It still blows my mind 🤯 how little law enforcement knows about the laws they enforce every single day. They're getting a lot more pushback these days from us people that are getting more educated on our rights 👍 thank you

  3. When is the last time a cop has smiled and asked how can I help you. Might as well burn their policies up and start over. Boy the cop in the sunglasses is dangerous its the sergeants fault as much as his. He should have removed him from this when he started getting emotional for being called a dog

  4. When a cops supervisor tells a cop that policy is not law and tells the cop to uncuff the person the cop is clearly frustrated. Seen it in a
video was great, the cop tried to tell the supervisor, supervisor just gave the cop 'the look' ,cop got it.

  5. You’re wrong on officers not legally required to identify, when they fail to do so, any case that ensues from that stop must be dismissed, if they were not required by law, anyone can pretend to be law enforcement… stop giving false information
