  1. Hearing these disadvantages because of lack of technology back then…. It makes me horrified thinking of how women's lives were more than 100+ years ago… imagine…. oh my god i am so glad for technology or else there would be like a 5% chance of anyone finding anyone in captivity right now and the kidnappers would have their way everyday. now there are phones, forensics, taxis, etc

  2. Thank you for telling this story separately. I meant to go back to it in the main podcast, but this was a timely reminder. What a man! Firstly, for having the guts to go with them so that they wouldn't go after his family; then for having the presence of mind to analyse the sounds around him and store up every bit of information available, for later use. Living in that cupboard must have been torture. No wonder he ended up with PTSD.

The rest is quite baffling. Why would a prosperous realtor do such a thing – did he have some kind of addiction? And why would the captor be set free so early, when the victim was treated so badly and his co-conspirators are still free?

I wish Mr. Teich the best of luck for the future. I hope he gets the leads that are needed, gets his money back, gets the other conspirators imprisoned and lives a long, happy life.

  3. There she is, great to see you Ana G 💜

Jack’s story is crazy scary!! He seems like such a well-adjusted individual despite the hell he endured.

I think his experience would send most of us howling to the mental institution, yet he seemed to have lived a fairly normal life since this occurred.

    What an inspiration 🙏🏻💜

I’m so glad you dedicated an entire episode to Jack’s story, he seems like such a sweet man.

Always love your reporting, analysis and dedication to the truth Ana 😉

  4. Such a terrible way to treat another human being. I hope they paid for this crime. Thank you Jack for sharing your experience. I am sure this painful experience affected your life in a serious way. You are a true survivor!
