According to a new agreement between survivor Anthony Borges and the Parkland shooter, Borges will have to grant his permission for the gunman to appear in any sort of interview. The killer also agreed to donate his brain to science when he dies, so it can be studied. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber speaks with Borges’ attorney Alex Arreaza about the decision and what this means going forward.

I thought Anthony could play as a Goalie player for soccer or does that require moving he can't do. Also, I saw the sweatshirt and pants he wore that day, Feb 14, he looked protected cause it was bulky. Had a backpack on. 🙏 I pray for him and hope all treatments go well ❤️🩹

Fun fact: Nicolas was a school shooter in 2018 he killed 17 people which was in 2017 he was aiming for 20 people. He was close to his goal but his goal failed
This is great, but I have to play devils advocate and wonder if there was some sort of plan for financial gain behind this decision. There are many other victims who suffered as a result of the Parkland Shooting, but now only ONE of those victims owns the rights to use the shooter’s name, write a book, tell his story etc. he may have silenced Nikolas Cruz with this deal, but he also silenced every other Parkland victim as well.
His brain for research? Cmon you’re joking right? He’s literally going to be in prison for 60-70 years his brain is going to be perfectly normal and healthy. Prison preserves you.
