An Ohio prosecutor held a press conference on Monday and outlined the murders of three Ohio boys at the hands of their father, Chad Doerman. Clermont County prosecuting attorney Mark Tekulve presented a slideshow that detailed Doerman’s actions in the days leading up to the tragic killings. Doerman changed his plea to guilty to avoid facing the death penalty at trial. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for executing his three young sons — Clayton, 7, Hunter, 4, and Chase, 3.

Something just bothers me about him and his step daughter. Like he did something to her or had a secret love for her or something…he acts very strangely in regards to her. And that song…kinda reminds me of a teenager in love for the first time…like he is wondering if the teen feels the same way for him too. Just imo. His demeanor in court is very telling too. No reaction for the mom but crying his eyes out for the step daughter’s letter…very sus. 😮

they led a very perfect life outside the home. Inside was different and she was threatening to leave him for over 7 months. I dont know why she didnt take her sisters offer and get out while he was at work. He got a plea deal because the officers violated his rights and continued to drill him when they arent allowed

I can’t help but think there are still missing pieces, seems some facts are absent & not sure the reasons. Regardless my heart is broken for those innocent boys & their last moments… I can’t imagine their fear, confusion, their pain both physically & emotionally & the heartache of realizing what their own father was doing. I pray their souls are resting in heavenly peace. I pray the daughters receives the love, support & counseling she needs. I hope that he hadn’t done anything more to have him make that apology to her. Seems there were missed opportunities to prevent this or to call 911…. such as the statements he made to both of his parents & even the comments made at home at dinner & even after but for those I guess hindsight could be a factor. IDK there just seems like so much could be missing, warnings, behavior issues, hostility, something. He should have had the DP, what he did to those boys was evil & this monsters does not deserve any mercy, & especially no need to eat, or sleep on the tax payers dime.

There seamed to be some thought process and planning that led to this – paired with psychosis gave him the motivation to do it. We all have issues, we all loose touch with reality and become burnt out once in awhile but murdering your 3 sons is just beyond ! Exhausted men need to take better care of themselves and stop murdering their families when the going gets tough …

This is right around the corner from me. I have a wife as and three sons too. This is so incredibly sad.
The terror those poor boys felt as they ran and fought for their life is absolutely heartbreaking to me, I cannot imagine what was going through their minds. Sickening that days after murdering his innocent sons he is on the phone with his parents acting non-chalant/joking – absolutely horrific. Those boys last moments on this planet was horrendous, and he has not one once of remorse or feeling. I pray he is haunted every single day for the rest of his days of what he did to those 3 innocent boys, his wife and step-daughter. RIP little ones – fly high with the angels.

Thank you for sharing the press conference. This crime is so earth-shatteringly tragic that someone somewhere should get to the bottom of what was in that human's head. We spend 100's of thousands surely investigating ex-pres assassination attempt(and INNOCENT citizen shot in the head)… but to me, this is more tragic… Not to attempt to place priorities, but to EMPHASIZE that this is so bizarre in its current "understanding" that every Effort should be made to get to the bottom of what happened to that family. This must be prevented.
This is like getting the opening statement we didn’t get because of the plea deal.
