I'm from down that way originally and have started dating a woman near there a year ago, so I've come back to lower Alabama a lot recently. I was heading home to Nashville, turning from Pike County Lake Road onto Three Notch to get on 231 when I saw a billboard about this case. I was unaware of it until then. I work at a drug and alcohol rehab, I'm in recovery and have six years of sobriety. It is not victim blaming to state a simple fact: this poor woman's decisions have really hobbled local law enforcement's ability to get some clarity in this case. Justice needs to be done and she needs to be treated with dignity for sure, but this whole story is just a reminder that a clean life, a life lived well, is a reward all its own. I hope the case can be closed for her family. Also, that tabloid reporter needs to leave Lelia's child alone and not ask her questions like that. Tasteless. My best to the family.
She’s not smart at all😂😂
These parents raised this girl with no morals. Gets pregnant out of wedlock, drops out of college, gets into drugs. This family needs God
Outing a closeted gay on social media? You get what you get when you put evil into the world. F0h
Idk it doesn't really sit right with me- interviewing the woman's daughter and asking her what she thinks happened to her mom? Like is that really necessary? It's for TV, she still has a life to live outside of this, maybe just leave the poor kid alone
as soon as i hear his family was influential in the town, and her posting about the guy being gay …THERE YOU GO A MOTIVE BOOM
she was a perfect person. a saint.
oh. btw. she used drugs and all. but nevermind that
If she was afraid, howcome she did not leave him?
I understand the concept of don't blame the victim, but when your lifestyle involves a lot of high risk behaviour you can end up in serious trouble. First getting pregnant out of wedlock and the father refuses to have anything to do with you is not a good sign. There was the drug addiction. Finally, the police are reluctant to take a missing person report because she had "done this before". This woman needed serious intervention way before this happened. Another lost soul. Pity.
How not to sound Affluent, pronounce it, a- fluent
That’s my freind Madison and I know her parents
I am angered about these stories, I find these stories very very disturbing
Prayers and Deepest Condolences to this women's family.
Hurting Women is NOT ok
WOMEN Have the RIGHT to FEEL and BE SAFE
This is a reply post regarding a article on Assault Against Woman:
For what is statistically true, or accurate, and even what is not included statistically, and all other crime such as this is what is ( violence against women) Always unacceptable…
Women have the Right to Feel and be Safe…
No woman…, or person….child…should ever have to experience this kind heinous personal intrusion in their lifetime, this seems to be occurring at least according to news reports more, and all to often.
Actually this activity should be in a stage, or state of Reversal, and NOT Increasing, I am continually upset as well as greatly disturbed in hearing such stories, as I have always have been…
My Heart Always… goes out to any person which have experienced any such similar experience of intrusion, attacks, and, or invasion of their personal well-being… due violence, and or violent behavior,
I will continue to pray for the Safety and Well-Being of Others…

Why would u even ask a child what she thinks happened to her mom, i don’t think she wants to imagine what happened omg
I hate men who get these women pregnant and then leave if you’re not ready to have a baby keep your clothes on

She outed him on social media and probably in person! That's motive right there! But yes she did drugs and went out partying so it is very possible her lifestyle had her in the wrong places around the wrong people at any time! His lover had motive too. Might have feared her exposing who her exes lover was next!
When I heard he came from affluent family and moved in within 2 months with the father liking him, I immediately thought oh so she was willing to move quick since he was well off and parents always shun struggling working class men for their daughters but it's usually the well to do ones that actuality aren't well. Then when the mom said she didn't want to move back and I seen the trailer I'm like oh yeah I'm definitely right about her feeling she hit the jackpot! They show text of her telling her mom she was scared, life in danger and her mom response was O. Who does that? Follow that up with her being an addict and mom didn't care about her, wanted her gone so they weren't offering her to come back! Sure mom didn't want her dead but mom didn't handle this the way a loving mom would have! She failed her daughter when she needed her most! Yup addicts are hard to deal with but that's when they need you most! Plus she was a grandma, no way she should have blew her off knowing addicts often don't make responsible decisions especially in dating! Smh. I would have advised my daughter not to move in so soon and picked her and the baby up immediately if she sent me those text!
My dad’s mane is Blaine. It seems kinda familiar because my parents split up after 30 something years
But my dad would never hurt my mother. They’re best friends yes my dad was the reason for their separation kinda. They just have different views on life. So my mother said she wanted to leave like have a break from him., but then she was to live in Barrie. My dad told me that it was up to her
So unlike those Blaine. My dad Blaine isn’t a kidnapped or abusive. He’d never hurt my mother he really really made sure he was very very involved with our family ever since he was retired from work.
Disgusting interview w child. There is no excuse for this.
The daughter asked her mom to pick her up….AND SHE DIDN'T?? i would've shown up guns blazing!!
Love the interviewer voice
Total dysfunction…. what could go wrong
am I the only one who feel sory for her dad? I mean tbh Dad's face looks very sad, or maybe beside that, maybe it just the way it looks.
.
So you say he an affluent NO i said hes a respected family man smfh
She needed to stop meeting guys. And being serious so quickly.
Not even ten seconds in they introduce the missing woman's daughter, who os set to play Bobby in the next season of King of the Hill.
The narrator gives some hilarious looks when she's trying to look really interested 😆
