I bet you had it been another grown man entering his home and he shot without looking he would be praised for his actions, by media, by police and by the public.
He was guilty of the gun charge so he deserved time for that. I feel that it was cruel to force him to plead guilty to homicide. It was an accident. There was no crime concerning his daughter's death! I pray he find peace and forgives himself.

I don't think he should be charged with anything if you know like it happens on accident sometimes stuff happens on accident and we know that but if he wasn't if he didn't really know it was higher than would you expect him to know that it was actually her

This little girl had to pay the consequences for her fathers reckless actions, it’s such a heartbreaking story. Many drug addicts are good people just caught in the devil’s game, he shouldn’t of had the gun, he should’ve went to rehab for his 4 babies. He was a criminal, but criminals can have good hearts too. People with empathy suffer more than people who don’t, and I can just tell this man is going to suffer for the rest of his life. 😞
I don’t think 4 years was enough. I think he should’ve at least got 10-15 years with parole at maybe 7-8
I think it was an accident as he described it in court, and he shouldn't have been convicted of more charges. He's gonna be much more careful in life from now on. That's a much worse punishment if he deserves to be punished for being reckless in the first place.
