  1. nobody grows up saying "i wanna be a junkie when i grow up." addiction does not care who you are, it will find the tiniest crack and seep in, it's being able to claw your way out of that darkness and finding the sunshine again. i pray for any and everyone who is still in that darkness.

  2. LMFAO Jon is NOT into doing this interview, first when he's talking to Chris Hanson, it's like, why I am answering these asinine questions, y'all already heard my mom. Then at 5:31 the look on his face says it all. He's like whatever, are we through yet? You can tell he didn't want to be a part of this interview. Some people just don't like their stories put out there, whether successful or not.

  3. I am soo happy his story turned out for the better…sad thing is even after all that they could easily relapse..even despite all that pain and learning to walk again…I pray to the good lord that his is a permanent change and lord give them the strength and ability to help more people.

  4. This is an amazing story!!!! I am a recovering Heroin addict. I've been clean for 2 years. Heroin is a mother fucker to get off from but it is possible and there is hope. I love seeing stuff like this story. This guy is a true inspiration!!!

  5. Good for him . At least he woke up before it is too late. The mental or the coffin. And I admire the mom who make all the ordeals of fright for the life of her son. 2nd life has come to his senses. we should value that to the fullest.

  6. I know that scary pain of thinking he might die. Unforntunaly for my family we didnt get this outcome. Miss my brother everyday.! This guys a lucky one! Hope he really is staying clean.

  7. Wow this really hit home for me.. I've never heard anyone else having this happen.. I almost died from the same thing, but it was so severe that my left leg had to be amputated above the knee to save me!! My kidneys were failing, left arm was really messed up along with some brain damage… considering the outcome I came out ok..it was a long road to recovery in many ways, but good things did come from it.. I had alot of shame since this wasn't how I pictured my life, but it's what you do with it that shame that carries you or barries you…ive been able to help people from my experience and it's taught me alot about myself and others… Anything is possible..
