  1. I'm sorry, but if you've been around a violent child, they have immense strength and obviously do not have the self-control to keep their hands to themselves. It's the only outlet they have when angry. They dont have the emotional capacity to verbalize their feelings. I
was helping with a young boy, around age 6, who had behavioral issues, and it would take three grown women to control him when he lashed out. I was pregnant and had to stop helping when handling him. He threatened at one point to "kick me and unalive the baby in my belly." These things DO HAPPEN.

  2. Being dead is not "being in a better place". Life is prescious and a gift. We should take care of it and guard it. We should not look forward to the end but work diligently to build a better, safer path for others.

  3. I always criticise myself as a parent, I do my absolute best because I almost wasn't able to have children and after losing my son, my daughter was an absolute miracle! Nearly losing her twice during pregnancy was terrifying and I guess I always feel like I'm not doing enough for this blessing I've been given, then I see stories like this that make me realise I'm not a bad parent, I would do anything to protect my child! How can a mother – not that she deserves that title – hurt her own baby that way! Out of spite as well 😠 sorry excuse of a human being! I hope she gets what she deserves in prison and then rots in hell!! R.I.P you beautiful little Angel, shine bright for all the children of the world ❤️

  4. All along in this story the presenter kept saying "the parents used their child as a pawn in the divorce " noting I heard or saw, in this piece, suggested that at all, it seems like the mother used the son as a pawn in the divorce but it seems like the father genuinely loved his son & knew he'd be better off with him.

  5. This is truly a tragic case. I just found out though that my friends dad actually worked this case and worked with Joel, but for some reason they interviewed Joel over my friend’s dad? Anyway moral of the story people thinks things like this can’t happen in their town/ country but you never know what people are capable of….

  6. So horrific and brutal… I have goosebumps… Trying to hold back myself…. There is no need of monsters when such people exist… This incidents make my stomach churn… Please people appreciate what you have because our parents give us the best of the best… We are really God blessed…

  7. More commonly, men do this. It is equally monstrous regardless of the parent's gender. The parent never loved the child and only valued the child as a possession which they were happy to destroy to punish the other parent. This sort of person was never a good person who broke, they were always a ghastly person who valued only themselves but who may have managed to hide that to a greater or lesser extent before committing the murder.
