After going for a run near her parents’ home, college student Rachel Cooke was never seen again. How could someone disappear just 100 yards from her home? Crime Watch Daily’s Ana Garcia has the story.

  1. The very Officer said; “Why would someone confess to a murder unless he did it?” Then as I was writing a comment, he stole the words right out my mouth. People do say things to get a day/ride out in the sunshine looking for a body that he has no clue where is, or under pressure from the Police, McDonalds and Cigarettes during his hours-long statement. That’s why if I was a member of the Jury, I’d want to satisfy myself that he wasn’t beaten up to confess, etc. That’s one of the things that’s wrong with the System; up to a dozen Jury members that most likely don’t wanna be there, they’re not qualified in Law, they have no experience in it. They’re part of a naive Society that think the Police/Prosecution never do any wrong. US Citizens know they’ve lived in a country that has had deep-rooted corruption for decades, but they believe how they want it to be. Even if they accepted the reality, it would only be the tip of the Iceberg. The Police Force is mostly full of murderers, they help cover their colleagues crimes, they intimidate, they lie, they falsify paperwork, they abuse powers. People can’t believe it’s possible until they experience it themselves and then they’d only think it’s one bad Apple. Even the Police Officer said what he did at first knowing what he believed to be the reality deep down as he said it 5 minutes later, because he’s used to talking to dumb Joe Bloggs of Society.

  2. There are many people that confess to crimes they didn't commit. When cops can't solve a high profile murder they will jump to a confession to clear a case. I don't doubt Moore did it but a confession alone is insufficient there has to be corroborating evidence, victim's hair, blood or other physical evidence in his car, maybe identifying a birthmark or scar not known by a stranger but knowing general or reported information about a case can't be considered as creditable.

  3. Michael Keith Moore is a very likely suspect but I wouldn’t rule out the three suspicious looking Hispanic guys seen driving through the neighborhood either. Women should always carry some sort of weapon when they go out by themselves, preferably a gun.

  4. The hometown ex-boyfriend is the most likely after watching this. You really need to look closer at him. Are you positive she didn't make it all of the way home that day? Significant. If she did forensics would've been available at the residence. (missed opportunity)

  5. 0:51 “Who in their right mind would confess to a murder that they didn’t do?” Come on, you’re the sheriff. You should know better than anyone that people confess to crimes they didn’t commit a l l t h e t I m e!
Btw, I was a little disheartening to hear at the end that the FBI and the family have come up with 100k for a reward, yet the sheriff (who seems really dedicated to this case) who literally won an 18m lottery didn’t put a little chunk of money toward the reward too.
