There was no direct evidence connecting Raymond Jennings to Michelle O’Keefe’s murder. No one identified him as the shooter. He owned a .38-caliber gun, but the murder weapon was a 9-millimeter. There was no gunshot residue or blood on his uniform. And someone else’s DNA was found underneath Michelle’s fingernails.

  1. Another case of sloppy police work and them getting tunnel vision from the jump and not properly exploring other suspects. I mean hello red flag, her cell phone and earring were taken and those items were not found on him nor a gun. When would he of had time to dispose of those things?

  2. Wow, the dad looks down his nose at those who earn "minimum wage"🤨 i don't feel sorry for a man who obviously thinks he is at the top of the pile to the rest of us peons.

  3. People r so easily led…. Everyone on here is so quick to say he didn’t do it? But, they only proved he was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. There is a lot
More to his case he was not an Iraq vet until after the case…. He said an awful lot more than they show u on record and in a deposition which was used in all of his trials and he failed a poly test, so uhhh there is more just because they can’t prove he did it doesn’t mean he didn’t all they can say is that possible that another person ALSO could have done it. Do your readers h before u out n out decide this man is a total innocent hero??? The jury didn’t know about the other people’s oh why??? Because the only witness there that night…. THIS GUY said he didn’t c anyone else but, he did see someone else and in fact spoke to her & but he lied about that??? She was the one who came forward before he did they r the ones who said they were smoking weed in the lot? Hmmm now if
They were so guilty why didn’t they run n hide? They were free n clear? He is the one who spoke to them… & when asked about it he forgot and then said “ oh yeah that’s right I did c them” so what exactly was he trying to hide? It’s just strange how everyone assumes as always the media has all the story? They left a TON out of this. I’m not saying that he is guilty at all but, he did it to himself, he lied a lot during his interview statements and kept getting caught, why would
U lie if u did not have a reason especially in this kind of situation why??? It’s very odd? So In all fairness to cops & parents this guy would have made me doubt him too!!!! U need to really look into this before u just assume he’s innocent and he may very well be, it’s a shame the jury did t know there were others there that night? But he wasn’t exactly helping himself much either?

  4. I do realize ray was innocent but like….. bro you still waited for your female supervisor to show up?! Man.. that’s honestly gotta be the hardest part to live down. 😂

  5. These true crime shows force reasonable, law abiding people to not trust law enforcement in some ways. If you don not react the way they expect you to, you are suspicious. If you try to react the way you expect someone to learning of a death you are suspicious. If you provide all the information you can think of and it is insightful you are now suspicious. So while the detective is busy being suspicious a person who truly committed this crime got to work out his or her anger by killing the decedent and years for freedom. It’s getting in your own way, which is not fair for anyone including the innocent who are imprisoned. I am someone who believes that the overwhelming majority of police officers are solid citizens who want to protect us and I am proud of the work they do for the many communities across our country. Like any institution it needs to be scrutinized in a healthy way and improved upon. That is how change comes about. It can be a frustrating process at times like what we have been living through these past few years with more police accountability taking place.

  6. The number one thing I despise is when officials say something about the way a person is supposed to respond to a tragedy, when first learning about the death of a loved one or how they react to the information. There is zero science behind that, I realize some officials have years of personal experience to compare it too, but some people are very different than other and process information differently.

  7. The father stating, a trained Military Infantry Man, noticed Michelle was still alive and didn't help, How could some like that not help.
Just think about if he did get her blood on him.
    It's a Damn if u Do, or Damn if u don't.
That there would of been 1 Hell of a decision to make in split second.
Guilty till proven innocent, Not innocent, till proven Guilty.

  8. Her dad shld remember who fought for his country and I hope one day her dad ends up in the wrong place wrong time and get blamed for something he didn’t do. See how he likes it Jerk

  9. U sit and wonder how many innocent people r In jail. Just because cops r Lazy. Like if you don’t want to do your job and do it rite go into a different career or be lazy and live off the government. (No offence to people who have to live off the government) but it just makes me sick. Her dad is making me puke 3 were 3 convicted felons in that parking lot How did this get him to prison and get this far

  10. Of course he had experience in detail etc he is a war hero god someone tries to help and look what you get Wow u see why people don’t want to come forward to help with info they just end up getting blamed for it.

  11. So many open holes in this case, they only interviewed Jennings multiple times. What about other people in parking lot? He was unarmed! They didn’t even find a gun in the area. Just a sad situation all around.

  12. just cause someone is more inteligent than the police doesnt make them guilty….. i wish our chicken chit police officers in the usa were worth a damn … the man is litterally watching this happen the fact that the only one helping is the cops #1 suspect is insane…. i think the responding officers did it… they have guns and ere in the area…… might aswell fire every cop in this city as they have no business doing any investigating ss they are helpless

  13. Let's just say if Jennings hypothetically did do it, He could set on national tv and tell the world he done it and never go back to jail again for it. Double Jeopardy won't allow you to be convicted twice for the same case. Nice on prosecutors. That man knew way to many sensitive details for someone who didn't actually see it happen.

  14. Mr O'Keefe, shut the F up, a man had 11 years stolen from him and you STILL insist with absolutely no evidence that he killed or was an accomplice to killing your "perfect" daughter? Go to hell, for every second you focus on the wrong guy the more dishonor you do to your daughters death.

Just imagine her ghost or angel or whatever screaming deafly at her dad "Dad! Focus on the druggy, car jacking murderers you idiot!! That man ran over to try and help!"

  15. I hope the jury rots somewhere for convicting someone with NO EVIDENCE. They really thought it was "beyond a resonable doubt"??? "Yep he was there. Therefore solid proof he murdered someone"

  16. Rich pretty and popular…. Wow I couldnt relate to her less…
She fought for her mustang? Was the mustang worth her life?
What motive did they think a security guard had? "Oh, let me murder a girl, not successfully steal the car, then help the cops as much as I can"
Cops "derp, must be him, he is lying to get away with it! A criminal mastermind! Ignore everuthing else!"
Dad "yep, derp, my daughter was perfect so the security guard must have killed her for some reason"
Half the Jury "derp sounds good to me, duhhhh how do I breathe again?"

  17. Makes you think twice or three times before saying you saw anything. This encourages the hush hush. Sometimes even cops are pressured to find this killer. Sad case of no Justice. Not to mention they still have no idea who killed her. That’s the sad part. Sad on all ends

  18. As an Infantry combat vet we see plenty of gunshot wounds and when we shoot pll in Afghanistan it gets investigated the same way… too bad cops ain't held to the same standard

  19. I understand this dad is hurt and have no idea how much he is hurting but also he has convinced himself this man did it because he was there yes sir he was because he was the dam security guard like blaming the Dr at the hospital when someone passes away because he declared her dead outrageous….. this vet needs to file a dam lawsuit some people are too nice…. and thank God for this young man and his father for coming to the rescue that says so much about who he is and who raised him just wonderful
