In this episode of Crime Watch Daily Updates: A night of partying in Southern California ended with the violent murder of nurse-turned-reality TV show contestant, Lisa Marie Naegle.

On December 18, 2016, Lisa Marie attended a get-together with one of her nursing students, Jackie Jerome Rogers. Although married, Lisa Marie apparently was having a romantic relationship with Jackie, and when Lisa Marie failed to return home that evening, her family reported her missing.

The search for Lisa Marie ensued until her body was found in a shallow grave in the backyard of Jackie’s home. Jackie beat her eight times with a hammer, washed her body in bleach, and left her body just feet away from where he lived with his mother.

Jackie confessed to killing Lisa Marie, and his September 2018 trial was a battle of whether to convict him of murder or manslaughter. Ultimately, the jury found him guilty of murder, and in April 2019, he was sentenced to 26 years to life in prison.

Let’s look back at the case involving a reality TV contestant and her unfortunate demise at the hands of one of her very own students.

  1. Her husband was in complete denial, and she also lied about going to the party with her brother. She wanted him to go so no one found out about her infidelity💯

  2. How was she a loving wife and she was cheating🤔 it’s hard for me to feel sorry for a Cheater especially when it causes them to be in that situation not to say she deserve it but she put herself there 💯

  3. Okay so what was he thinking?? You wash her body in bleach but then bury her in your back yard like they aren't going to connect the dots?!

  4. When I taught adults, we'd go out as a group at the end of the course, but I'd never go out with a student on my own and never would have invited one to my house or even told them my address. Lisa's college should have had a clear code of conduct.

  5. The husband is unusually calm and is handling it quite well in my opinion. Lover boy is acting like he had been hired by someone to take out the wife.

  6. Why when someone murders someone isnt the minimum life ??? 26 years for this scum. Unbelievable. No doubt her plan was to get pregnant by the murderer and make the husband bring him up. She was not much better than her killer.

  7. .the husband was far too trusting…. why the did her lover murder her? I feel bad for the husband, trying to be a good husband
It's odd how he doesn't seem tearful or very upset.

  8. Bathed her in bleach…the guy is beyond demented. And husband still doesn't believe there was an affair. Still thinks he's gay probably. What about blood in the car, on the clothes. Maybe husband was in on it by his emotionless statements.

  9. Guys this is what happens when you’re a good man to these women, women like bad boys,I repeat women like bad boys,in these days and times chivalry is dead.

  10. A nice intelligent woman who has everything going for her, good husband , nice family background hanging out with the wrong person. I hope this serve a lesson for all of us women out there.

  11. The red flag is her out partying, acting single, when married. Sad, though her doing. Maybe someone will think twice. One can only hope.

  12. She, nurse or otherwise, wasn't very smart. When you choose to deceive, you wind up deceived. Other may have killed her, but she is dead due to her own actions. Learn the hard way. Who's next? RIP.

  13. I find that more and more these soo obviously MONGOLIAN "hispanics" are pretending to be white! It's getting almost comical now! Their roots are in East Asia, not Europe.

  14. Husband is an idiot. Catches guy leaving his house at 3 a.m. and wife says it was a student. Give me a break. Well one less slut in the world.

  15. Would like to know if there was any evidence of an affair. Like text messages, voice mails, e-mails, witnesses, video camera recordings, etc… I don't think there is any because if there were, then the husband and the sister wouldn't both be denying an affair. I think he killed her because she turned him down and wanted him to take her home.
