Retired California couple disappears after showing their yacht to buyer – Everything Law and Order Blog

Instead of paying a hefty commission to a broker, Tom and Jackie Hawks were going to sell their boat themselves. After a sea trial for a prospective buyer, the 55-foot yacht is moored back in Newport Harbor – but the Hawks seemed to have vanished into the ocean air.

  1. Young love is poison sometimes; you meet someone when you're young and think you know it all and before you know it you're in the hands of a killer. I hate to say it but it seems safer to just stay single. Keep yourself protected from outside forces that may harm you and just enjoy your life.

  2. This case is truly horrendous and especially heartbreaking. My deepest sympathies and condolences to the Hawks family who lost two special and incredible people. Skylar and Jennifer Deleon are monsters in every sense of the word.

  3. The fact that California paid for this gender change is ridiculous. But if Trump doesn't make it into office that's where our tax dollars will be going to. This is what Kamala has promised. No one will be denied (free). Proven. Trump 2024

  4. I watched a legitimate documentary about this guy a while ago but the video has been taken down. It didn't say anything about paying for a sex change. It said he was a hitman and it had the whole storyline of what happened. He supposedly had a girlfriend back then because that was the ruse to get them to take them out on the boat in the first place. It even had her picture. i guess they just decided to leave out the sex change part for social status. Kind of weird i noticed this because that was just a random video I watched one time. all that aside, our government is sick!!!!

  5. 3:13 Thomas Hawks' experience as a probation officer kicked in, to tell him something was wrong with Jacobson (or Deleon)
6:30 When their friend Carter Ford saw the boat was slightly unkept he knew something was wrong.
    7:25 Good detective work. 9:20, 10:10, 13:44, 17:45, 21:50 (He just admitted to a crime. Stupid. 16:45)
12:35 More stupidity. He drove the Hawk's car to Mexico.
16:00 Jackie Hawks was very smart and left a clue behind.
25:58 Cops have it real bad. It would be very difficult for me to listen to something like this.

  6. If anyone who owns a yacht and wishes to sell it in the way these people did,
a precaution might be to "celebrate" the sale by having all parties involved pose for a group picture, as a remembrance of this memorable day, just before the try out voyage is done
by an acquittance who will remain on shore and send the photo to a third party. If the buyer becomes reluctant to take such a photo, that would be a definite red flag
and one could feign being insulted, so insulted that there is now no more interest in selling the boat.

  7. and thanks to Kamala John was able to get a sex change. Policies created while Kamala was the states attorney general, John received both breast augmentation and bottom surgery on taxpayers expense while serving on death row. Are you really going to vote for the women to be in charge of the United States? Trump 2024

  8. RIP the Hawks’
This awful case almost makes you think when about someone in an accident dying before they even had time to know it was happening, is lucky compared to something like this that builds up and allows for time to think. How sad for them, these people were horrible to do this 🙁

  9. No one finds it’s suspicious that a retired probation officer was able to buy a $500,000 yacht and spend two years sailing the world ? He then accepts cash payment from a convicted felon for his boat ? There’s much more here than people are letting on about Tom the probation officer.

Keep in mind this is 20+ years ago which means the boat would be worth almost a million today .

Sounds like Tom was caught up with some bad people while he was a probation officer. Anyone ever investigate this guy for corruption ? Probation officers have more power over their probationers than anyone .
