How about the people who clearly seen him in distress and kept walking. Its all too common that people do not want to deal with drunks at all.
Bars should call them a cab and pay for it if their friends refuse to accompany them to their home, hotel or whatever. And make sure the cab gets them INSIDE their dwelling. After that, they are on their own.

Everyone failed this young man… I agree with the woman. Its common sense especially nowadays and being an adult, you don't leave your friends when they're in a compromising position. Men or women, either way, stay with your friends. These frat boys weren't his friends.
How insensitive. Has he issued an apology? Total disregard for witness statements and insist the young man does not want to be found. Then, removes all accountability of law enforcement and says the family must stay and take the lead if they want their so found.

I think that there should be some accountability on these bars that throw people out after they (the bar) gets them intoxicated!! He wouldn’t have been so drunk if it was not for the bar. At the very least find a real friend or get them a ride to there hotel or home. I’m not blaming the “friends” either but this is happening way too often. We all need to have someone looking out for us. But that’s not always able to happen so at the very least the bar could have done more to make sure a man who spent his time there, got intoxicated there made it at least home. Makes me furious that they continue to do this and hold no capability when the person gets murdered or disappears!! Praying for his family. 💙🙏🏽💙

The evidence Ive seen, heard and know of, theres something is not right.
Its not easy to get down to the river..and theres a few homeless camps there. There was a homeless witness stating he heard a commotion. He yelled up to see whats going on. Another person yelled back, hes just drunk.. so the homeless man just let it be cause someone was with him. Who was this person?. Also, if he accidently fell in, he would've yelled out and possibly seen by the homeless people on the riverbank.

Blame the friends. Blame the club for not making sure he had a way home or somewhere safe. He is also responsible for his actions. So sad he had to learn this way. He, unfortunately, was found un-alive.
