With Jodi, the officers kept acting like they didn't understand why an attorney would tell their client to have counsel present for questioning. The officers know why. Their job is to get confessions, and that becomes more difficult with an attorney present.

Both women are evil, twisted monsters, but it's important to note that police are manipulating you every moment they are in contact with you. They train to manipulate people and control a situation from the moment they arrive on the scene. Even the way they say, "Hi," is calculated for their benefit. They aren't your friends.

Always have an attorney present when speaking to police, ESPECIALLY if you're innocent.

They are both weirdos especially Ruby just sitting there with a blank look on her very plain face. She absolutely detests not being in control and its beautiful to watch 😂

Some of the abuse these monsters put the kids through was written down on Washington County's website. Just a trigger warning ⚠ though, for awful awful reading:

"The ensuing investigation revealed that Ms. Franke and Ms. Hildebrandt held Franke’s 12-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter in a work-camp like setting. The children were regularly denied food, water, beds to sleep in, and virtually all forms of entertainment. They were also prohibited from interacting with others and were hidden in the home when others came to visit. They were forced to do physical tasks like carrying loaded boxes up and down stairs and “sitting” against a wall without a chair or stool for hours at a time. The children were also forced to do manual labor outdoors in the extreme summer heat without shoes or socks. They were similarly forced to stand outside, on a cement patio, in the summer heat for hours and even days. They were beaten, and the 12-year old was bound hand and foot after a previous attempt at running away. Additionally, the children suffered emotional abuse to the extent that they came to believe that they deserved the abuse."

These two haven't EARNED THE PRIVILEGE OF FREEDOM!! (As if freedom is a privilege… But according to their own ideology, everything is a privilege…)

Jodi is a master at manipulation. She had NO intentions to speak to the detectives. She just wanted to be in control of the situation.

They should have kept her cuffs on and tightened them she deserves no comfort. Don’t allow her water and drink. She didn’t allow her kids any.

Wikipedia says she has a MASTERS in Psych, same as I do. That doesn't make you a psychologist. You need a PhD for that. I think she might be fibbing.

a lesbian history of signaling article says this is the case as does Wikihow for what it’s worth. Jodi wears a silver thumb ring. If she were a psychologist as she says here, that title would require a Doctorate level degree to become fully licensed by the state. Masters degree lets you become a therapist or counselor but not call yourself a psychologist as she does here.

Roby is a classic control freak with an authority complex, that's why she treated her kids with such domination but in the face of authority/police she instantly stonewalls them and instantly invokes her right to an attorney "which is smart but also demonstrates the only power she has in this situation"

Um for the cops stating "yeah we are just here to provide you with the opportunity to tell your story" is a total line and not true. After she says she wants to wait for her lawyer then all questioning should have stopped. Instead they continue to lie to her to prompt her to state things which is illegal. As well it is what all those cop shows do. I am wondering where her husband is in all this as statements from him should have been obtained as well.

Shes Creepy as eff but you should always ask for a lawyer when being questioned by the police to protect yourself.
