7. She did know they would be coming… because she was out looking for Russel and came up upon the cops and asked if they seen a boy or they asked her.. I can’t remember but I know there was an interaction before hand before they got to Russel I believe. I think it was in the 20/20 doc.. maybe?
   And at some point when she was out side with the cop.. her lawyer said something like.. they are there because you lied to them… and then Jodi stopped him and said she was on speakerphone.

16. I get it some more now. Ruby was attracted to Jodi because in Ruby's eyes? She saw something she wanted. A successful business with an expensive house, plenty of followers, an independent career. That was the attraction. Ruby told Kevin she was trying to create another income stream for herself. Kevin represented too many children. Someone who probably made her feel second class as a person. Everything was in Kevin's name which was interesting but proof of Ruby's lack of an advanced education. She might have felt some resentment toward Kevin too because of the freedom he had with his career that she didn't feel she had access to. Why moving away from is understandable. No push from Kevin to attend College for herself?

    Jodi and Pam were willing to take on some of Ruby's responsibility for her children. Which of course was very attractive to Ruby because she was tired of playing mommy dearest. No, tangible rewards or even financial assests. Especially when her behavior toward her children was ruining her profitable channel. It led her to seek out solutions. Help, Ruby was willing to pay anything for. A situation Jodi couldn't resist because she was getting so much positive attention from Ruby as well as a lot of access to the Franke wallet with no real stipulations on how she chose to spend her ill gotten gain.

    I think Kevin felt secure in Ruby's dependency on him. He didn't see that she would look elsewhere to find that same level of security in someone else. Jodi offered security and support in her vendetta against her children, especially the youngest ones.

    I can't get over Kevin's saying how much confidence he has in Jodi after hearing all of the insane activities she was involved with. Nervous breakdown, asked to leave other's homes when she has a huge home of own? Crazy stuff flying around the home. Pushing him out of his own bed. Secret meetings? That is a trustworthy person? Well, it was someone who was willing to deal with your kids so you do not have to. That is about it. It allowed Kevin to maintain his active life at the College, among his collegues, students, his work. No worries. Out-of-site, out of mind.

It shows a high level of mistrust of law enforcement from all of them.Kevin acted like they were lying to him.I think he wasn't ready to believe the "made up story" till he got out of there to fact check.Thank goodness officers were there to rescue those kids.That is exactly what they are there for.

18. I don't think she was surprised that officers were there. She was surprised that the officers removed her from her house without a search warrant. I would have been surprised too if I was her because that is not allowed under most circumstances.

28. Jodi is such a liar.. She told the police she hadn’t been in that safe room for 6 yrs and couldn’t remember the combination to the lock. Wonder how the cuff links and rope got in that room? Haha. She probably put the cuffs in the room right after the little boy escaped from these monsters knowing the police were coming.
