As a former long time mormon I have observed that there is a very large undercurrent of “enlightened” mormon women who believe that they are enriching each others lives and families with very poor advice regarding marriage and family. These women are often very inexperienced but feel somehow “special” and empowered by the “Holy Spirit” to dispense this ill advice. Vallow, Hildebrand, and Frankie are just the high profile members of this disgusting group.

8. The father is weak little coward.He never got upset about the abuse he got upset about her going to prison.The cop and to push him to get a reaction it was very bizarre.He also is religiously disturbed and sexually disturbed as most religiously obsessed people are.

17. She is so evil. She even laughs when she talks about what she does/has done to her children. She should be thrown under the jail. She should have to endure every single thing she did to her children over and over again until “she is made so uncomfortable she will work out all the evil she has in her soul”. Just like she did to them. She is a monster, and knew exactly what she was doing and saw herself as superior to not only her family but to everyone in general. Jodi, just helped her justify her actions, and Jodi saw her as an easy mark.

22. Agree Jesse. It is highly suspicious that the father didn’t see his kids for a year!! And when being told the situation, he puts his head in his hands?! My husband would have been through that ceiling!!

I agree with the PI that at that earlier stage the videos were not how most of us would deal with a child but were not the extreme crimes that Jodi and the mother did later illustrates on that heart wrenching 911 call. Nor is not going to the home at all strange – most fairly well known families even youtubers do not want everyone coming to their home so typical would speak to lawyers, accountants, PIs even from a different office address to maintain privacy at home.

25. Her punishments escalated. Sadly children had to suffer horribly. Sad that it was not discovered earlier. How a Mother could do that to her children is beyond my comprehension.
