3. I sat across from her in study hall and in front of him in home room, pretty sure I would have eavesdropped on the goings on if there were ever really any – never heard a peep about any of this – very easy to make up a bs story when the father is dead

5. I lived on Long Island, attended Newfield High School, and knew both Cheryl and Sean; both were honestly vey nice. Sean was more reserved, quiet, and kind, and yes the quintessential person who would give you the shirt off his back. Cheryl was outgoing, down to earth, not snobbish or stuck up, friendly, and quick with a smile or kind word. I wish I would have known them more than I did. One day, walking out of school, Cheryl walked by me and cheerfully said hello as she always would, and I saw her father there on his motorcycle… it seemed odd because I remembered other kids talking about how: “Cheryl always has to go with her father after school, and Cheryl’s father never lets her hang out…” etc… Now, at that exact moment in time, I didn’t think much of it, but looking back and reflecting, I’m like oh yeah crud this all actually makes sense… I can’t explain it, but something was definitely off with her and her father, and it wasn’t like he was just simply strict or something generic; I saw her and her energy/personality honestly seemed to change in a weird way. My father was a truly horrific person who absolutely terrorized me and my sisters – because I was the youngest I did not have it as bad as my sisters… my oldest sister got it the worst… beaten black and purple, neglected, screamed at, etc… it seems as the oldest especially if it’s a girl, gets the worst of it… he put on a good show when people were around for the most part but behind closed doors, he was a beast from hell. I’m positive if my sisters would have had done the same thing to him there would be people out there saying how he was such a good man, etc… I am happy for the both of them. They both found a purpose for their lives and are productive members of society. Forever Young! All the best.

What hit me during this interview, that is so difficult to comprehend is, people in prison can get free schooling and degree after degree but other people that can't afford schooling and do not commit crimes have to pay ridiculous amounts of money! That makes me sad and mad at the same time! So ppl that can't afford to go to college have to work crap jobs, at minimum wage and live paycheck to paycheck! I think everyone should be able to go to college if they can't afford it, but there are too many barriers! When you don't have family to help you and you have other problems, you get cheated in the outside world!! Certain things need to change about college!!

26. I remember this story. She lied about the molestation. To cover up her getting pregnant by her boyfriend, she concocted the incest rape story and thought by killing off her father, it'd cover the tracks better. Thankfully, DNA found her father didn't get her pregnant.

I went to school with his younger brother and some of his h.s. friends… i know alot about this case .. i even dated his younger brother briefly ..boy this was one of the biggest stories of not only our town …but country wide !! I sometimes would say hi to Sean when he would call from jail on the holidays….. so sad. .. he was just a kid that felt so bad for this girl ESPECIALLY when she told sean she was afraid her father was going to do this to her younger sister!!! Cheryl was freaking out!!! This whole thing as tragic as it sounds. .. i believe god is by sean's side for his bravery for what he did for those grls !!! Its a shame that they have to live with that 4 the rest of thier lives . .but well worth it !!! They stopped a predatorial evil man. God bless them !!! I think cheryl's mother is watching over her and her sibling now !!😌😌💖💋

I know what is like to not have a voice when an adult steals it as it different circumstances but was all in the the same silence a child and gaslighting them with fear is a sentence of emiotioal prison in its self and so hard to get back from that emotionally and sexual abused children are in a hell that no one can understand. But I am so happy she is with a good man and Sean got an opportunity as God gives the strongest the biggest struggles because we are good and matter ! 46. I couldn't imagine what Sean has to live with for the rest of his life. However I am happy to see that he is seemingly doing well. I pray that he continues to do well & that God gives him some peace & comfort.
    I personally believe that all peds need to be in the fast lane headed straight to hell. Yet at the same time I really wish that there could have been a different way to protect Cheryl & her sister. On the other hand I know that going about the legal way does not always happen as soon as it should.
