5. If Chad had ANY decency at all, he’d encourage his children to make amends with Tammy’s family. With him going away, he’d realize that his children need to be with family. But I doubt that he’ll do this because he’s such a monster.

12. It’s jarring how utterly emotionally void and remorseless Chad was through the impact statements. Does he feel no shame, no sadness at all, does he even feel anything? Does he not know he is utterly abnormal at this state.

16. Will someone explain to me, why a JURY both renders verdict as well as PUNISHMENT, and not solely verdict, to then allow the punishment to be determined *BY THE JUDGE??
    I know this isn’t ”new” or ”uncommon,” I’m simply asking from a totality perspective? Why is the jury responsible for both phases?

Poor Jury, I know this can’t be an easy decision for them, but I have faith they’ll make the right decision whatever it may be and I know what they viewed during this trial wasn’t easy, so I hope they’re all doing ok mentally, because I can’t begin to imagine having to see some of the heartbreaking photos they had to.
