Gwyneth Paltrow’s defense presented Terry Sanderson’s brain scans to their expert witness neuroradiologist to kick off their case Wednesday. Dr. Carl Black stated his opinion is that the images show the skier’s brain was injured prior to the ski collision.

A man with several brain injuries, blind in one eye, osteoporosis, had dementia, and told by doctor not to ski anymore yet he decides to ski anyways against doctors orders, is like a blackout, greenout level cross faded guy being warned by all of his friends not to drive back home at night till he sobers up but he decides to drive anyways
)
(I’m not even a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow whatsoever, but honestly this guy is a great example of FAFO
The moral to the story: know your opponent. Hire great lawyers.
Of course he has previous injury showing up.
He's been suffering from the onset of dementia for years before the skiing incident.
3 million. Pfft
Not this time buddy.
Congratulations Ms Paltrow. You acted like a true lady throughout the process.
This guy thought he would get a pay out. Dude is a loser
So he IS blind in one eye. When they asked him, he said he was not blind, that he uses that word lightly. But they specifically told him that he stated three times prior that he was blind in his right eye. So he lied Underoath.
Does meeting someone influence your OBJECTIVE findings of the brain imaging? That is the definition of objective: not being influenced by personal opinions.
This doctor is strictly a radiologist he only reads the imaging and writes a report for the neurologist. He probably was an unnecessary expert.
GP should have hired Mrs Vasquez
I get that this lawyer has to defend him and prove he's not lying, but to keep trying to discredit a professional at his job…someone stop him..my heart breaks for this lawyer.
I have no doubt that the man believes all the stuff that has been happening to him is because of that crash/accident.
However to say all his problems are because of it is a stretch when there is proof that it started long before the accident.
He has yet to prove that his condition is getting worse solely based on the collision.
It could be just the natural progression of his TBI.
Then to add in that he has been partying nonstop for the last few years.
It just seems like he ran out of money and decided to get some from her.
He has yet to convince me that what happened on the slopes is 100% her fault.
From the evidence I would say she may be responsible for his medical bills from that day only.
Meaning his doctor visits and tests from 3 or 7 days later is as much as she would be responsible for. Even then it’s limited because it seems like he wanted to know if the VA got it right as well as have a record of it outside of the VA in case they denied him his claim.
He was above her on the trail. The skier above is supposed to pause if it is crowded below. She was on the side. He came down and ran into her. Scammer.
Do this people know what a radiologist do ? They never see the patient
The lawyer seems very uncomfortable asking medical questions .. clearly has no idea of brain imaging etc
My take is Sanderson had a plan that went wrong. He'd been watching David Niven in the Pink panther on the ski slopes and that was the inspiration. The broken ribs were ( Not in the plan ) a genuine accident but the rest come on he's been partying and holidaying right left and centre for years after the collision. He was going to use his condition to extract 3 million. When his plan is even worse telling him reduce 235,000 he has to keep going but by now it is obvious. Good on Paltrow to fight the case. High profile celebs are not open season for everyone. Sanderson also could have been infatuated another reason for his actions. His history would show that a strong possibility.
This fever dream is all taking place in the brain of that expert after he sustained a severe brain injury while skiing, and he knows it.
Check out if he has a history of claiming,me thinks he has???
At best, I believe he probably has only peripheral vision like Macular Degeneration due to head injury.
If he loses the case, he will end up with the cost of both sides' attorney fees, God only knows how much Paltrow's defense costs.
Before the case went to the jury, I think she was hit by this guy and he is going for a mega-money grab. The plaintiff really hated Paltrow. He probably resented her having 200 million and thought some of that should go to him.
Shes goin to win the case,
Sanderson filled a few DEPEND DIAPERS today . BONAPETIT
This trial is so boring, especially after the Murdaugh trial ended. Geeesh!
These lawyers ask so many unclear questions.
It's sounding more and more like Sanderson had an NAION event in that right eye. The damage is usually permanent and can result in total blindness, though not always.
Previous brain injuries and home goes zip lining, water rafting and hiking and scuba diving and bike riding etc…
An optometrist with an injured brain and blindness. Now that’s mighty peculiar.
Omg because of the Johnny Depp trail I never knew that there not supposed to film you if your not on the stand or called on, I thought it was normal probably because he never complained about it lol
A person blind in one eye skiing.. . SKIING. Am I correctly understanding this? c
