In this week’s True Crime Daily Podcast: A TikTok star is accused of shooting a friend during a drunken night of “cosplay” in Houston (1:36). But how could someone with a million and a half followers be charged with manslaughter without it going public, for months?
And a nurse in Texas is convicted of killing patients by injecting air into their arteries following heart surgeries (28:19). The nurse’s attorney says the hospital had other issues, and the nurse is just a scapegoat.

  1. I wish at some point I saw someone being-up that a main part of Yandere Simulator is to eliminate possible competition to the person they're stalking for romantic purposes. If anything was being reenacted, I don't think it was Gotham!

  2. People who are completely disconnected from reality do things that the rest of us in the real world have to cope with. Sorry that's the plain truth. And that's not just cosplay it's humanity wide.

  3. I noticed that Ana used her name rather than “they” for her personal pronoun. She understands how confusing it is to communicate information while using the English language incorrectly. It’s incoherent for the listeners. Dr Judy has to think about after Ana accidentally uses the female personal pronoun while referring to “Snow”, but she dutifully complies even though she didn’t at the beginning. Multiple genders and endless, nonsensical pronouns is madness. It needs to stop.

  4. I love Judy she's one of my favorite guests. So smart and compassionate. Logical. Why would u ever pull the trigger on ur friend w a real gun whether or not u thought it wasn't loaded

  5. 6:15 miss Judy couldn't have said this any better. This was a perfectly constructed explanation and breaks down ambiguous complexities young people have difficulty understanding. I am definitely putting this in a folder for my children to review since dumb people and guns is often a topic of lecture.

  6. Some people are way too cocky handling firearms. If I was in a place where a bunch of people are drinking & someone pulls out a gun, I'm outta there. I don't even like when people point elastic band finger-guns around or especially toward me. Way too little respect for weapons.

  7. Don't know about US hospitals, but in the UK if someone needs resuscitation, not everyone on the ward gets involved in the resuscitation so not necessarily suspicious that Davies wasn't involved in trying to help them

  8. Snow definitely doesn’t have DID I’m an RN and I’ve seen real cases before. She’s saying it as an excuse to get off. But there’s no excuse for what she did. She killed someone and she’s shown no remorse whatsoever. She went on like nothing happened. She better get at least 10 years

  9. My recommendation is that you do further research on D.I.D. Multiplicity And Me is a good place to start. They are a D.I.D. channel that brings a lot of awareness and thier own experience with D.I.D. up front as educational content.

There were a few statements made by your guest that were inaccurate.

But, all the points you brought up about what is needed after these situations is important.
