In this episode of Crimes and Consequences: Madame Delphine LaLaurie was born into wealth and privilege in the late 1780’s to a family in New Orleans. She married and was widowed three times, the last husband being lost in a housefire where finally, the true depravity of what was going on inside of her mansion, with her slaves, was discovered.

I have been to the mansion in New Orleans during a ghost tour. They didnโt let us inside, at the time Nicolas Cage owned the mansion.
This is my first time watching your channel & I was wondering why the blonde girl keeps making duck lips? It's very distracting & kind of annoying honestly. I'm going to try to watch the rest of it without looking at her.
Tone deaf on so many different levels
Sorry but your back round screen is awful. Color not good or pleasent to look at. ๐ฌ 3:37
Ditch the blonde…she constantly interrupts and talks too much! ๐ฎ๐ค๐๐
Thanks girls. Love u two.
i dont like the way they told this story, something about it rubbed me the wrong way because for starters why are you a grown woman yet didn't know about this until it was on american horror story/until you needed a podcast topic. They seem uncomfortable talking about it which is a red flag. Especially the woman on the left, she acts like its a tale rather than a true story. sayin stuff like "and this is all stuff people seen or just said?" and "if someone saw something like that why wouldnt they report it?" do you think someone is making it up? Why is she asking questions like that. Are you that ignorant to how little black people meant back then, especially in the deep south AND if youre wealthy. idk the whole video gave strange vibez. I loved this topic because I like spreading awareness about stories like this that everyone should educate themselves on but if it were up to me, I wouldn't sponsor them anymore
I haven't seen any videos recently with Ana Garcia. Is she still with crime watch?
I love how you take a pause to talk about how the teenager marries an officer, and then when she marries a guy 15 years younger, you say โgood for herโ ๐ซฃ
Honestly I love this channel..but I only watch Chris Hanson narrating..I do Not watch these side bar/ podcast videos…just Chris Hanson ones..maybe set up a channel etc just for these…
Are you ladies open to feedback on your podcast?
There is no way the Doctor wasn't 100% involved! It's obviously a lot of medical experimenting. That doesn't happen until she marries him!
Iโm sure sheโs being punished now
Interesting story, and the most boring, ridiculous podcast I've ever tortured myself to get through to the conclusion.
Won't be wasting anymore of my time on this channel.๐ค๐๐
I tried with this show again… I can't with the girl on the left. "Why would he want to run away?" Omg! I can't imagine why an "enslaved person" would want to run away…. ?
That's very rude. Don't watch it. This is my first time watching these lawyers. There very detailed and know there stuff…
Sorry, I almost didn't didn't notice I accidentally hit the thumbs down. ๐ฌ
I enjoy you two! โค๏ธ
Horrible story tho.
Why are they both trying so hard to not to say black people? Like it was some type of melting pot of different ethnicities at this time and place.. Not only that but itโs on the record..
Iโm sorry but you're soooo boring and soooo slow in your narration that, even if english is not my native language, i had to go out of here in order not to fall asleep..
There was a man who was found dead in his bath tub. He was covered in milk, cornflakes and bananas… police suspect a cereal killer.
This information is seriously lacking ! I studied this case and you have not discussed most of what happened! ๐ก
I just got to ask, why does Tanya got the most gruesome crimes? Do you guys plan it or how does that happen?
Oh my God hello I just got home and I turned on True Crime Daily and here are my two favorite girls. Iโm so excited I canโt wait for this episode.
Good grief, ladies. Such a huge historical character. Very interesting story. On its own, it has more than enough drama, shock, and horror. Really, there's no need to draaaaaag it out and bread crumb long enough to rivial click bait Facebook story. I can't even finish it. ๐ข
good entreating retelling, but I just have to, I can't help it. Lah la 'Ree with inflection on the 1st and 3rd syllables. French Creole. if you yelled at her from across the street the way you're pronouncing it she wouldn't have even looked in your direction. but the story was excellently done.
You two are funny and great! ๐๐
PLEASE JUST STOP.
Her 3rd husband, Dr. LaLaurie did not die in the fire but died in 1862 in Cuba according to everything I have read about this story.
There were no laws back then regarding abuse of slaves. That was the horror of slavery in those times. ๐ข๐ข๐ฎ๐ฎ
He knew. Those people.wouldve been screaming in agony. He participated I'm sure.
Girls you are good just need to exercise! You need to sound like 2 friends who are discusting (gossiping) in a coffee shop rather than reading a script or something โค
