In this episode of Crime Watch Daily Updates: Bridget Shiel was an athletic beauty who dreamt of bigger and better things when she moved from Washington, D.C. to Atlanta. She became a model, but also worked as an escort with a Backpage account.
Although Bridget went to Atlanta for a new start, it’s unfortunately where her life came to an untimely end.
On May 30, 2016, surveillance footage from a gas station shows Bridget with two men in her car, though she wasn’t driving. A witness told police she appeared “extremely nervous.” This was at about 11:30 p.m.
At 1:30 a.m., a resident called 911 to report gunshots near Oakland Park. Hours later, just before 7 a.m., police discovered Bridget’s naked body. She had been shot seven times with something called “radically invasive projectiles,” aka “R.I.P. bullets,” which create fragments and expand once they’ve made impact.
Police found her car the next day about 20 miles away from the park along with a Sprite bottle and some of her clothing. The Sprite turned out to be the big break investigators needed.
Exactly two years after her death, Atlanta Police announced they arrested Christopher Spencer and charged him with murder. He was in custody already because he had previously been convicted and sentenced to life for killing a couple in October 2016. Christopher was also involved in the shooting death of an 11-year-old girl and her 15-year-old brother.
He appealed the conviction for killing the couple, but the Georgia Supreme Court upheld the ruling.
Let’s look back at the case of a young woman whose life was cut short right as it was about to begin.

This is embarrassing but I was on backpage 9 years ago. I was in a REALLY abusive relationship. My life was a total mess. I didn't want to be on BP but he would literally drag me out of the car. I remember meeting some1 at a bar and I was crying so bad. He snatched me out, punched me, pushed me, picked me up, and dropped me again. Still, there's always someone in the car. I believe Kevin was in the car taking her to these calls. It was dangerous back then. Imagine how much more dangerous it is now! He knew what she was doing on BP. I'm sure it was the source to many fights and arguments. I remember my ex-husband taking me home after a call just to torture me about going on the call that I didn't want to go on in the first place! Even though my calls were in public,it still got scary. I had a guy try to drag me into a hotel. I had men threatening my life because I wouldn't go with them to a second location. I'd get death threats via text message. I felt like my life was always in danger 24/7
This should have never happened to her. But the ugly truth is there are thousands like me. Stuck in a very bad relationship being used for their body. The best thing that ever happened to me was the day I finally got free of my ex.

The interviewer shouldn't have gotten this worked up over the word bulls*it. Maybe the guy was referring to the way the interview went or the questions… I think you should treat him as innocent of this crime, until proven guilty.

Why is this story still about her life before her death, her boyfriend's life knowing he is innocent, his girl friend's life knowing she is innocent and her son's life. Why isn't the story about the two black males starting from the service station? We do know Bridget was not pregnant and you should be settled on the fact she was not hit in the face by Kevin, not a word about a bruised face. This should be about the killers and why one of them was out of jail or prison for other crimes. Again, shame on True Crime Daily for making money off the misery of other people.

atlanta — Atlanta police have announced a suspect in the 2016 murder of 19-year-old Atlanta model Bridget Shiel. It's been two years since her body was found naked and riddled with bullets. Until now, police never announced a suspect.
Christopher Spencer, 28, is charged with murder in her death. Spencer was already in prison when he was arrested. He's serving a life without parole sentence in Macon State Prison for the murder of a DeKalb County couple in a home invasion.

Why didn't they give more info on the guy that did this? Why would they replay the ex bf's segment again only to play it last and he didn't do it? This episode was very confusing and left me with more questions than answers.
The interviewer interrogating the boyfriend was pretty much treating him like a murderer and accusing him of saying the word BS on audio then somehow that audio disappears after the boyfriend called him out on it and demanded to hear it. I am glad the boyfriend stood up to the interviewers BS and proved him a liar. I don't even want to watch True Crime Daily anymore because of that idiot. Get rid of him already!
