1. Why on gods earth would you carry a knife to a tubing trip unless you’re looking to do something else without your group knowing or witnessing. I personally think he’s guilty of murder and deserves prison time for what he’s done to these poor kids, the phone excuse is completely rubbish

   This case should be an example to people to not put yourselves in harms way. It seems like the defendant knew how to harm people. In mere seconds hed injured several severely and killed another. Someone without knowledge on how to harm people couldn't have done what he done. He should've just went on down the river. The kids shouldn't have taunted him and just went down the river. Totally avoidable.

He came to stir up trouble, and he traumatized these young adults and children. Yes, 17-year-olds are children. The proof is on the video. Anybody can’t see that this is guilty is beyond me. I agree the prosecution is terrible, but the case is strong.

20. Drunk out of control, teenagers attack, an elderly man the two women were high and drunk and out of control and violently attacked the older man they get caught so many times in their testimonies lying that is ridiculous.

I’m confused about all the comments talking about either “stand your ground” or “ duty to retreat”, I believe Wisconsin doesn’t have either of those laws and the law states something along the lines of you can’t cause bodily harm or use force that could likely cause death unless you feel it is necessary to prevent great bodily harm or death to yourself. I’m pretty sure it’s obvious he would believe great bodily harm was going to happen to him, it doesn’t mean I think he should have stabbed four people but I just imagine if my loved one was in this situation with all these people pushing and hitting them in the water, would I blame them for reacting? Everything he did after the incident though is just crazy and I’d love to know what he said to his wife after the stabbings.
