A woman capable of doing what she did is likely unable to persuade a jury to feel empathy for her is unlikely to know what empathy IS. A defense attorney would likely not contest her counsel's objections to her taking the stand. Any decent defense attorney would be like, "please, go ahead…" 15 years is not long enough. They better be served consecutively.

I’m sure the man did not want to pay child support and that is why the biological mother did not have her kids with her. He looks like an absolute asshole in general, but he’s beyond evil and should not be eligible for parole in 25 years.

The boy didn’t freeze to death though, he died of hypothermia. That’s not the same, but also so very horrible
The narcissistic dad hated his autistic childrens' existence–they were being 'weird' to embarrass and spite him, to make him look bad. Any punishment is just to an entitled narcissist; there doesn't need to be any 'larger purpose' of doing it to spite the bio mother even. It's ultimately self-loathing and shame at his own visible deficiencies, which is all he could see when he looked at the kids i guess.

Regarding Dr Bruce… this isn’t just a possession of child porn, this is actually DOING something about it. He was looking at pictures of ‘just some random girl’, he connected directly with her. He asked her for sexy pictures, and got her to send him nude pictures. He didn’t just perpetuate victimhood, he created a new victim. Also, the likelihood that someone begins this behaviour at 72 is just about nil. The only exception I can think of is someone with developing dementia, and is unaware of how inappropriate they’re being. In that case, that would have been pled, and there would be no need to discuss him continuing to practice medicine or to teach.
I bet the doctor and father settled out of court for money. Money allows ppl to forgive you very quickly!
As appalling as this doctors actions are, where’s the parental guidance for monitoring what this 9yr old is doing on the internet? Nothing happens in a bubble!

This is absolutely gut wrenching to learn about this case. My only question is what happened to the other little child who was out there with him? This type of torture to young children causes l9ng term permanent psychological damage to not only the victim but to the other minor witnesses as well. I know this because I had to witness my eldest sister torture my older [ 2 years older ] sister and then 3 of her kids and then 2 of my other sisters children. Her one daughter moved away when she had her child after her mom came to her home in Los Angeles wanting to pretend to be a grandmother. My niece was petrified of her mother as we ALL witnessed her torturing little children. She ev3n locked my mom in the garage of our 3600 square foot Barents home and POURED ICE COLD WATER ON HER FACE and in her ears and she 3nded up with pneumonia at age 60. My sister TORTU4ED OUR MOTHER HER ENTIRE LIFE and our poor mother had ALL of her possessions taken to a new home which they wanted us to save from foreclosure by living there and paying the rent. She dropped my off there in the middle of the school year to clean onee acre of garbage and horse shit in 9th grade and I WAS NEVER CHECKED ON UNTIL 1980 !!!!! My mom was left in Pasadena to be homeless from that point on AFTER MY MOTHER GAVE HER THREE MONTHS RENT. My sister NEVER HAD A JOB SHE WAS A FREELOADER SLAVING OFF OF HER HUSBAND WHO NEVER HAD a chance to come home [ from the machine shop ] and get a shower because she was ALWAYS SPENDING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS living lavishly and NEVER did a single load of her 5 kids nor her husbands laundry !!! She ONLY COOKED DINNER a TOTAL of 5 times from 1978 thru 1982. Not one house chore and she beat and tortured us EVERY CHANCE SHE HAD !!!! She is the ABSOLUTE LAZIEST FILTHIEST CHILD ABUSER WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN PRISON IN THE 80'S. I had to have 5 abortions because I did not want to be like her. I LOVE TODDLERS and kids under age 7 are my favorite but I was MORTIFIED at the thought of having a child and was afraid of the rapist men coming after if I did have their baby. Two were cops and I knew they were married so I did not need ANY PART of their evilness.😢
