in the UK I think this would be 'entrapment.' What do they expect in a poor area? easy statistics to look like they are tackling real crime. No wonder people run from the police for minor offences. Some of these films show incredible restraint and professionalism from the police others just make me glad that I live a long way from there.

I miss the great times when the Ford Crown Victoria was the dominant police/taxi car.
I find it hilarious when criminals involved in car chases still think it would be a good idea to use their indicators to indicate the direction their car is heading. One would think, if in a chase, the last thing crims would be doing is providing bread crumbs in the way of their indicators to show the cops exactly where they intend to go … by indication their direction. Left means Left. Right means Right. Nothing means forward. While lights at the back show the car is in reverse.
On the first clip I thought it was unfortunate seeing the passenger get arrested just for a marijuana joint, especially since he was being cooperative with the police.
Ah the good old days where they used huge department resources to catch bicycle thieves not like today where they shrug at you when you report your car stolen.
