Where I'm from we need something like this, but considering our Police Chief got a DUI I'm not sure we will see it anytime soon. They tell us it's not good to drink and drive, I have lost a friend to it, but they still go road trippin. We don't have lyft or uber where I come from. Then again I live in a VERY rural area.
At least the girlfriend was smart enough not to go with him. Who know what would happen. Unfortunately innocent people on the pavement have no choice, the choice have been made for them :/

Okay, if I was his girlfriend, I would never tell him to come over knowing he was drunk. I would either go get him if I was fine to drive myself, or get him an Uber.

It took me 2 DWI's a brand-new car and a smashed rental some prison to learn my lesson especially in NYC I could've killed myself or some1 else Thankgod lesson learned UBER☝️

You can't make logical disitions when your intoxicated. ALWAYS make plans for a sober driver.
Make alcohol as illegal as cocaine and then drinking deaths will be lowered.
Nothing good ever comes from drinking alcohol. I'm 28 and have only ever had one sip by accident when I was about 9, and I don't plan on drinking.
When I was in middle school we were taken to the auditorium where miami-dade police and highway Patrol would talk to us about the dangers of drugs including driving under the influence. They basically showed us crime scene photos from accidents with people under the influence. They were gruesome and traumatizing for a lot of us but did the trick
I took part in the "Every 15 minutes" program in 2003, so it isn't a new concept at all, maybe the internet is just catching up to it.

Maybe they should make Driving tests a lot harder to give drivers more Exercise before they are allowed to drive alone. to prevent speeding or dunk driving they should make the licence much more expensive cause the dirver knows exactly it will cost him a lot if he loses it.
