Taylor Schabusiness was convicted of killing her lover, Shad Thyrion, then dismembering his body. During the second phase of trial, her defense team presented its opening statement by claiming Schabusiness was insane at the time of the murder. “At the time of the offense, she did have a mental disease or defect,” Christopher Froelich explained, further pointing to her “obstacles” growing up and a lack of mental health treatment.

The documentaries on this case in years to come, wow
She’s straight coocoo bananas. I mean truly batpoop crazy.
She hasn't got a mental problem but is pure evil and she should have the death penalty. How could you just murder your lover and then cut off someones head and body parts. I believe she is trying to copy Jeffery Dahmer and want to be a serial killer but she isn't as clever as he was, Just a sick, evil person
A smiling , laughing demon, put it to sleep, make sure it never sees freedom again.
If she did have a mental defect or disease she wouldn't have been laughing at any point during her interrogation or her trial, she'd be distraught and remorseful.
She's so creepy, I can't stand looking at her
Using mental health as a reason to try not to hold her accountable doesn’t fit all the steps she described to the police when she committed the crime. If she didn’t get the help when she was younger, that is not the victim’s fault or anyone else. Clearly she had unfit parents or caregivers. This woman needs to be locked up, she has no remorse or empathy. We shouldn’t have empathy for her either because she will repeat this crime again if she walks away freely. We all have had our challenges and it doesn’t mean we have taken out our anger on someone else. This nonsense needs to stop.
To put some levity in the seriousness of this case…
Is it just me or does her face always look like she really has to poop? 😂😂
Marijuana and meth will make you insane for a couple of hours impair her judgement but yeah she's not trying to eat someone right during court or anything just making faces.
WE ALL HAD OBSTACLES
Another murderess failed by her lawyer. The sentence is received not for her guilt, but only for the sheer abhorrence of her crime.
I don’t think she’s insane. But I definitely believe she’s a psychopath. She literally has no emotions about killing him. She just wanted to do it and she did it. Same thing you’ll hear from a lot of psychopaths when they’re being interviewed about their crimes.
Me when I’m taking my finals 4:18
Hasn't the excuse of 'obstacle' been used to discriminate groups of undesirables?
She evil, not insane.
She is insane,100%
No, no, no. She “played” with his organs for hours. Morbid curiosity not mental defect.
He must not have really watched that interrogation because she knew right from wrong and she quoted I liked it that does not meet the definition by law of insanity
I worked at 3 mental health facilities for a total of over 20 years . We had forensic psychologists do forensic exams . To state an individual is competent to state trial you need only determine that they knew right from wrong . She cleaned up and left the scene , which indicates she was aware of her actions , to me that indicates she was not insane
She's very sane.
🔐
I understand the attorney is just trying to do his job.
But her having a bad childhood does not condone the things she has done.
The fact that she stated multiple times she enjoyed it means she was fully aware of what she was doing and was getting pleasure from it.
That IS an Insane thing to do.
But not something that a "bad childhood" or as shes claiming "insanity" drove her to do.
She was a fan of dahmer and wanted to be the "Female Dahmer" of this time, Imo.
Is She 🔪JACK THE RIPPER🗡2023 🔗??🔗
Stop using a "difficult childhood" as an excuse to murder someone!! A LOT of people have difficult childhoods and they do not kill people. She said she liked it. She knew if she continued to strangle him that it would kill him and she continued to do it.
