Taylor Schabusiness Is Insane, Not Legally Responsible For Lover’s Murder: Defense

“This case is a battle of the experts,” Taylor Schabusiness’ attorney Christopher Froelich said during his insanity defense closing argument. “She is not legally responsible for this crime.” Schabusiness was found guilty for the murder of her lover, Shad Thyrion, along with sexual assault and mutilating his corpse. The Wisconsin woman’s defense team believes it’s clear Schabusiness’ drug use and mental illness diagnosis created a mental defect which ultimately led to Thyrion’s murder.

  1. Let’s say she have a brain damage people like that that commits horrific things is not their fault at all but they have two options behind bars for the rest of their lives or death penalty it’s what it’s.

  2. This woman is clearly an unhinged individual but no doubt in my mind she's 100% responsible for what she did. I mean she tried to cover her tracks of her deeds plus throughout police interrogation & throughout court proceedings she was all calm & collected even laughing & smirking at times. This woman is just pure evil & no way she should ever be released back into society as in my mind she'll kill again.

  3. My mom passed away too. I said my goodbyes after she was passed. Yes it was hard but i am thankful i got to see her one last time. Trying to blame things on her death that happened as a child im pretty sure its not affecting her mentality as an adult.

  4. I kind of buy it that she’s not well. She needs to be institutionalized for what she did. My cousin is I’ll too and he has been denied parole twice because he’s still not well He’s been down since 2002.

  5. So she doesn't get emotional while describing horrific detils of her boyfriends murder but cries when her lawyer speaks on her mental health?

She's most certainly mentally deranged but definitely deserves to pay for the crime.

  6. Unfortunately, many people claim to be disabled physically or mentally so they don't have to work. I see it in both young and older people. The technical world has made people lazy. Not many are very ambitious. This gal is one of a kind. Should never be allowed in the public again to mingle with other humans. What she did is vile. She should be studied thoroughly.

  7. I saw a normal kid do meth and over a short few months he became completely and permanently insane. He was completely psychotic and paranoid. Very scary and very sad. I am deeply disturbed that she was deemed competent. She’s absolutely insane, it’s really disgusting—this whole “trial”. This isn’t fair, it’s a joke.

  8. the meticulousness she had in trying to clean up everything, cutting the body into pieces and hiding the evidence in various places does not make me think she is crazy, on the contrary she was very lucid in everything she did!! evil is not synonymous with crazy! there are bad people and that's it, madness has nothing to do with the wickedness shown, I repeat by the cure in wanting to hide everything! in these cases it would be necessary to give the death penalty and that's it .. the legal system today is completely wrong
